The focal point or “heart” of the Cape Whale Coast is the popular seaside town of Hermanus, this is just a 2 hour drive from Cape Town. Recognized by the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) as one of the 12 best whale watching destinations in the world. Get the chance to enjoy the magnificent coastline and land based whale watching of the Southern Right Whales as they make their yearly migration from the Antarctic between the months of July and November. There is an option (own expense) to take a boat trip to see the whales at sea.
There will be a photo opportunity along the breathtaking Sir Lowry's pass. You will also have the chance to visit the endangered African penguins at Stoney Point. If time permits visit the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens before returning back to Cape Town via the scenic Clarence drive.行程概要出發地點
