Day 1: Bucharest (D)
Visit the second largest building in the world, the People’s Palace. Also, visit the place where Dracula is believed to be buried, in the middle of Lake Snagov. Overnight in Bucharest, 3-star en suite.
Day 2: Danube Delta (B L D)
Explore Danube Delta, Europe’s Amazon. This natural reserve, included in the UNESCO Patrimony, is a wonderful habitat which offers good living conditions for an impressive number of plants and animals. Danube Delta, 3-star en suite.
Day 3: Biosphere Reserve (B L D)
The Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve has one of the largest biodiversity in the world. Letea forest, a protected natural reserve, is famous for the hundreds of wild horses that roam freely in an unspoiled element. Danube Delta, 3-star en suite.
Day 4: Brasov (B L D)
Vvisit a unique landscape with volcanoes. Instead of boiling lava you will be surprised to discover boiling mud. Arrive in Brasov at day's end. Overnight in Brasov, 3-star en suite.
Day 5: Brasov (B L D)
Start the day with a visit to the Rasnov fortress built to protect the villagers from invaders during times of war. Next, enter the bear sanctuary in the Carpathian Mountains in Zarnesti. Overnight in Brasov, 3-star en suite.
Day 6: Brasov - Sibiu (B L D)
The Transfagarasan Highway covers a route of 90 km with amazing mountain landscapes. Pass by a huge artificial lake, Balea. Overnight in Sibiu, 3-star en suite.
Day 7: Sibiu (B L D)
Move from mountain landscapes to the German-like city Sibiu. Not far from the city, visit one of the largest open museums presenting the wonderful world of the Romanian. Overnight in Sibiu, 3-star en suite.
Day 8: Sibiu - Deva (B L D)
The Densus church was built on the settlement of a Dacian temple dedicated to Zamolxis. During the Roman occupancy it was a sanctuary dedicated to the god Mars. After the Roman retreat it became a Christian church. Next is the Gothic-style Corvin Castle, a place that visitors never forget. Overnight in Deva, 3-star en suite.
Day 9: Deva - Sighisoara (B L D)
Enter the medieval atmosphere of Alba Iulia and discover its star shaped fortress. Then, visit Sighisoara, a citadel inhabited since the Middle Ages. Overnight in Sighisoara, 3-star en suite.
Day 10: Sighisoara - Bucharest (B L D)
The journey continues up to 2000 meters where you will be astonished by an old rock shaped by nature with a striking resemblance to the Egyptian Sphinx. Then, visit Peles, the royal family residence. Overnight in Bucharest, 3-star en suite.
