Day 1: Bucharest - Domogled-Valea Cernei National Park
Begin your trip back in time; travel 2 hours from the city to find one of the most isolated places in Romania - Domogled-Valea Cernei National Park. The only points of access here are 4 wooden stairways, vertically attached on the rock. This is how the local people in the area live: isolated and fully self sufficient. Listen to their stories of everyday life and find out what they do on a daily basis, and how they manage to live in such a remote place. Stay overnight at a local's house, on top of the mountain to live their real experience.

Day 2: Domogled-Valea Cernei National Park
Leave the hospitality of your friendly local hosts and travel to visit the other local hamlets in these beautiful mountains. Admire amazing landscapes, wildlife, local mountain houses and friendly locals.

Day 3: Tasna Gorges
Today you will enter the magic world of the Tasna Gorges. They are wild, untamed, imposing and perfect. This is the place where the unique black pine from Banat grows. The trees look like huge bonsai attached to the rock, offering a great fairytale view. Stop in the famous must-see Herculane resort, once known as 'The pearl of Europe' and of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. See the historical buildings and the landscapes around the city are amazing. The place is known for its thermal water from 2000 years ago, which was discovered by the Romans. Take a tour of the old town and visit the beautiful buildings that tell stories of kings and queens, who used to bathe in these magic thermal waters.
Return to Bucharest where your tour ends.
