The Ciucas Mountains are some of the most spectacular in Romania, and are part of the Carpathians range. They benefit from amazing landscapes and are perfect for one day tours. The area is always a perfect choice for both trekkers and photographers.
Some of the highlights on the day tour include: the bizzare rock formations (The Pigeon, The Tower of Goliath, The Elephant), 360 degrees viewpoints towards Bucegi, Piatra Craiului and Brasov, great photo opportunities from Ciucas Peak (1954 m alt.).
Start your day by heading out of Bucharest towards the Valenii de munte, Cheia and the Bratocea Pass.
