This is one of the best tours I have ever taken - anywhere! Telmo was born to be a tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining and just plain fun! We had such an enjoyable day with Telmo! He picked us up at our hotel at 9:30am and asked us what we wanted to see. Since we didn't know much about the island, we told him to bring us to his favorite places. He told us a lot of stories about the island and its people. After a short hike, we made a stop at Lake Congro - an emerald green lake hidden in the forest. Telmo also brought us to many scenic vistas around the island and I was able to take some amazing photos! We went for lunch at a famous steakhouse and visited the Lake of Fire Lagoa de Fogo. We also visited a waterfall and regretted not bringing our bathing suits. A unique stop was at the Water of Lombados where we drank carbonated spring water from a natural spring. By the time Telmo brought us back to the hotel, we were sad to say goodbye. I cannot recommend this tour enough! You are guaranteed a great time!

We had a fantastic day with Delfim! He took us to many beautiful hidden gems on the island as well as back to my mother in law's village she grew up in. Delfim was able to help my MIL connect with some people she knew back long ago and helped to make the visit very special. He was very animated and knowledgeable and was able to keep the teens interested. He took us to one of his favorite restaurants where we had a delicious lunch. Before the tour ended he sent us on one final adventure through the woods to a beautiful waterfall. Delfim went above and beyond to make the day unforgettable If you are interested in seeing the parts of the island that are not loaded with tourists and learning all about the island, Delfim is your guy! . I cant recommend this tour enough!!

My 27 year old daughter and I spent an entire day with Telmo. He picked us up at the hotel in his Jeep. We drove over the whole island. He knew of scenic spots we never would have found on our own. He was very personable and easy. His boss made a reservation for lunch for us in Ponta Delgado at our request. Telmo was very informative. He grew up on the island. I would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing experience for myself and my family. We spent the day on and off-road seeing the island and what it had to offer. Made us all want to return! Would not hesitate to book this tour.

What a great experience. I highly recommend this to everyone. The tour guides were awesome and customized the tour to the best weather on the island that day, which is key in azores. We saw amazing backroads and local places none of the other tours go, like having the azores to yourself. Loved it.

What an amazing tour it was! Delfim was at the hotel at 9:00 and we allowed him to set the itinerary. He took us to places which were beyond our imagination! While booking the tour, book a fish lunch. Delfim will take you to a small village and you will be amazed at the fish tray with fish, fruits and vegetables at an unbelievable price. Delfim is humorous and knowledgeable and we enjoyed his company very much. There was no time set for any attraction and we spent the time that we wanted to.

He is the most trustworthy, gentle, kind, funny, knowledgeable, experienced and a great person to be with in this breathtaking tour.Thank you Delfim and Alice for making this happen.
