After a morning pickup from your hotel in central Lisbon, travel south with your guide towards Alentejo, a winemaking region that’s garnered worldwide praise for its wines. During the way the guide will give many insights about gastronomy and wines in Portugal, the difference between regions in terms of flavor (fruits), body or acidity of the wines. On this tour you will get to know how some grape varieties have been introduced in Portuguese soils since the time of Phoenicians and Greeks but also the winemaking process.
We will drive up north to the sunbaked plains of Alentejo, a winemaking region that stretches from the Spanish border to the Algarve in the south. Upon arrival in Alentejo, visit a local winery and discover the process behind producing these wines. Then put your palette to the test during a wine tasting of reds and whites as well as degustation of local products such as cheese, chouri o (smoked pork sausage), smoked ham and bread.
Continue on to the second winery in Alentejo, which has a long-standing winemaking tradition and a stellar reputation for producing intense and fruity ruby-colored reds. Venture out into the neatly pruned vines during a guided vineyard tour and learn about the climate and local varietals. Compound your newfound knowledge during another wine tasting session, where a tutor will talk you through the complex flavors of each style.
Afterward, settle into the car for a scenic drive back to Lisbon, in late afternoon be dropped off at a choice of two centrally located points; Marqu□s de Pombal or Restauradores square.行程概要出發地點

Pick-up at your hotel (or nearest location possible) only in certain areas of the city (center). It may be required to get to a standard pick-up point (i.e Mercado da Ribeira or Saldanha areas). Parque das Na es area is not available for pick-up. Please note that you may have to walk a short distance from your accommodation to be picked up. Drop off (done in only two locations: Restauradores square or Marqu□s de Pombal). English, Spanish and Portuguese are available all year round. French, Italian, Russian and Romanian ONLY ON REQUEST (according to availability). Please be reminded that there may be more than one language spoken during the tour (max. two languages). Please note that infants and children occupy a seat. Infant seats are available on request if advised at time of booking. Child rate applies only when accompanied by, at least, 1 paying adult. Maximum of 8 persons per vehicle. It's a good idea to wear tennis shoes or other appropriate footwear for the tour and bring along a bottle of water. In summer bring your sunscreen and in winter it gets very cold so make sure you bring a jacket. A minimum of 2 people and maximum of 8 people per booking is required: there is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund. Not wheelchair accessible. In case of adverse weather conditions (e. g. heavy rain), the tour will not be canceled, unless there are warnings and alerts by official organisms. We are not responsible for any traffic congestion in the city, resulting from cultural, sport and religious events, or even demonstrations / strikes, etc. However we will always offer alternatives to avoid these situations; one of them is to change the pick-up and drop-off locations. Great tour. We visited two wineries, one large and one small family run. Excellent wines, good tours and an outstanding lunch. Stefanavich our guide was helpful and provided good information, he made the trip special.

The tour was worth going but only because the second vineyard we visited was a very good one. There was a slight hiccup in the tour and we missed out on half of the first winery tour and ended up only getting to try one glass of wine, which was a bit disappointing.

This tour made our holiday in Lisbon, we had such fun!! our tour operator I think her name was Michaela was amazing so full of knowledge about the areas we went to see, nothing was too much for her and the host of one of the wineries Anna was fantastic too!! If you go to Lisbon its so worth taking this tour - its personal, you learn a lot about the country and the wine and best of all you get to meet the others on your tour. eight of us in total, We met up again afterwards!!! Were still talking about it to our friends - highly reccommended.

A great tour for someone wanting to know more about wine and explore a new wine region. The vineyards were different so you could taste a variety of wines and the food was very tasty.
