    After pickup from your hotel in Lisbon, you’ll head to Est?dio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica with your friendly expert guide, stopping on the way at the Benfica museum, dedicated to Lisbon’s beloved football club, Sport Lisboa e Benfica (SLB). With your guide, explore the museum’s displays that highlight the history of the team, which was founded in 1904. Walk through a long corridor, lined on both sides with national championship trophies, the European Cup, and lots of photos of former and current players, including Eus?bio, Rui Costa and Danish player Michael Manniche.
    Continue to the stadium for a behind-the-scenes tour of the premises. Officially named Est?dio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, the stadium was built for the Euro 2004 Championships and has a capacity for 65,400 spectators -- the largest stadium by capacity in Europe. The eye-catching seats are decked in red and white -- SLB’s club colors.
    On your tour, visit the changing rooms, indoor training areas and press facilities, and see the player’s tunnel, substitutes’ bench and seats in the VIP area. You'll also be allowed to go where the average person can’t  walk out on the field and imagine playing to a packed stadium of screaming football fans.

    We were not too familiar with this team, but after the visit we are fans.

    Our tour guide was great. He knew everything about the club and showed us things around the stadium that you wouldn't normally get to see. As I am a football junkie, he was able to answer everything I asked. Also got 20% voucher for megastore - so wait till the end of the tour before you buy anything. Hotel pick-up and drop-off...doesn't get better really.
