City-Tour of Aveiro and Coimbra
(Aveiro | Costa Nova | Coimbra)
Through the salt fields and the fishing port, from where brave men left for cod fishing in distant seas of Norway, we arrive at Costa Nova, with houses full of color and beauty involved in a beautiful natural landscape. Nearby is the city of Aveiro, the “Portuguese Venice” with its canals, where you can see the typical moliceiros and where you will have the opportunity to taste the famous ovos moles (“soft eggs”), a typical delicacy of the region.
Further south between the sound of guitars and the traditional student capes you will meet Coimbra, a city that was once the nation's capital and home of one of the oldest universities in the world. Its narrow streets hide the love stories of thousands of students who passed by the University. Among aqueducts and gardens, convents and monasteries, Coimbra delights us in all aspects.
