From Lisbon, head west to Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and so-called fairytale town due to its hills, palaces and villas.
Your guide will lead you on a 1,5-hour tour through the famous Pena Palace (Pal□cio da Pena), a whimsical Romanticist palace that dates back to the 1840s and was a monastery and summer residence of Portuguese kings and queens. Admire the Victorian and Edwardian furniture and the beautiful, detailed decor. See the majestic ballroom and imagine the aristocrats who once danced there in grand dresses and suits. Sneak a peek in the Arab Room, where tremendous paintings cover the walls and ceiling. Then take a walk through the Pena Park and enjoy the royal air while you see the huge variety of trees and exotic plants.
You'll have 30 minutes of free time in Sintra. Spend them by either visiting the Sintra National Palace (Pal□cio da Vila) or enjoying a cup of good coffee with typical pastries such as “travesseiros” or “queijadas de Sintra”.
Continue your tour to Cabo da Roca (March to October only), a dramatic cliff famous for being Europe's westernmost point. Enjoy the 20-minute break and take pictures of the beautiful landscape and the cape’s small lighthouse.行程概要出發地點

Too many people it was quite confusing some of them were lost and we had to wait for a couple of hours for them but the guide was great !

The tour guide was ok, but as she was speaking in three languages (at least...) in row - the information was really limited to necessary one, I would like to say - even not enought information. Dedicated time at Caba da Roca (20 min) is too short.

I really enjoyed this tour. The scenery on the way to Pena Palace was beautiful. The tour guide did a good job informing everyone of its history, inside and out. My only criticism is she was talking to the us in three different languages, which had to be difficult. So she had to cram in a lot of information each time. I realize that Viator does this in order to fill the bus, so to speak, and make more profit. However, at times the different languages running one after the other, was confusing and left little time for visitors to ask questions because the guide was rattling off so much information in a short amount of time. You had to pay very close attention or you would miss her comments.

Great trip to a wonderful palace. Cascais seemed to be an after thought when I mentioned we were to go there.

We were taken to Sintra in a big tour bus that left from Pra a do Com□rcio in Lisbon. The company requires the ticket bar code supplied by VIATOR, so please make sure to bring it with you we had a minor set back with this. The Pena Palace is at the top of a very high hill and is quite charming. After visiting the palace, you have time to walk around town and have a coffee or maybe some ginjha at your expense. We left Sintra and headed to Cabo da Roca, but the weather did not permit to walk around. Cascais was our last stop, not more than 10 minutes, to stretch your legs and enjoy the view. The tour ends in Pra a do Com□rcio.

The length of the tour was fine to see briefly some of the top attractions , the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this tour for short time visitors.

Our tour guide was amazing my husband left his expensive camera in Sintra, and our tour guide went with him and made sure we got it back. We really appreciated that!

Loved it! Beautiful places and sights. Being a half day tour it was a little rushed but a wonderful experience nonetheless.
