Tagus Bus Tour:
In this Lisbon tour bus, travel along the city's main avenues with the fresh breeze of the Tagus on your face, from the historic centre to the monuments of Bel□m. If it's your first visit to a city, we always recommend these tours because you get some interesting historical background and get to locate parts of the city to which you might want to pay a second visit. However, repeatedly we experienced rude customers cutting into line routinely, and the drivers made no attempt to monitor this. It's not that we blame the bus/boat lines, but ropes or monitored queues would make the experience much less stressful for those customers who politely wait their turn.

We had a 48 hour ticket. Spent the first day, Monday on the tram tour, which was awesome, and part of the Tagus tour. When we turned in our voucher at the Yellow Bus desk, we advised the representative that we were staying in Cascais, and would go directly to Belem on Tuesday. She was helpful in giving us advice. We wanted to take the Belem route ( orange numbered route), but spent the entire day on Tuesday without seeing any Belem route buses. We waited at three different stops for 10--15 minutes each and no orange numbered bus ever arrived, so we walked to the major sights in the hot weather, and never used our ticket on the second day. We were not interested In the Tagus tour bus since it did not include the complete Belem tour. We are both in our 70's This was not fun!!!

Comprehensive and interesting narrative of the different parts of the city. I bought the 3 buses and 1 tram package. Unfortunately the wifi worked only for the tram .

We have taken on off tour buses in several European cities and have always found the informative . We had to change seats several times to find and audio tour connection that worked. When we could hear the Guide it was not not focus on history of the area or what tourist site was at the next stop. Also, the number stops on the map did not identify key tourist sites at that location.

I read all info(I thought). Decided what sites I wanted to see and all were mentioned. BUT when we arrived to take the historic tour I was told that the red team was not available in the summer months!
Really! Half of the sites are not available! -
Great way to see an overview of the city if you have not got a lot of time.We did not get to use all the tours but we used the open top bus options.The Blue line we found to be the best.

My tour didn't include the blue line which travelled inside central Lisbon Rossio, Barre Alto, Baixia. It was good to see outskirts of Lisbon - the new areas.

If you're on your first-ever Lisbon visit, and you have only limited time in this exquisite city, do this HOHO bus tour. You have to buy via Viator for a specific day but the bus drivers don't seem to care if you use your ticket on a different day, as long as there's space on the bus. The antique trams that go through the old city are a Lisbon must!
