    With your 48-hour ticket, hop aboard the vintage tram at any of the well-placed stops around the city. Find yourself a comfortable window-side seat and plug into the recorded audio commentary as you set off through Lisbon. Your ticket gives you access to two routes, the Castle Tram and the Chiado Tram.

    Castle Tram
    Admire the pretty Praa da Figueira, flanked by Pombaline townhouses and cafes, and travel through the charming neighborhoods that cover Lisbon’s steep hillsides. Catch sight of S□ Cathedral, take in the views from Largo das Portas do Sol, and get an up-close look at the magnificent Castle of St George (Castelo de So Jorge).

    Hop on and off at any of the stops to sightsee at your own pace, or stay on the tram for its full 40-minute route.

    Chiado Tram
    Wind through tree-lined streets, and take in the brightly colored houses that typify the Portuguese capital. In the glossy Chiado neighborhood, you'll pass by alfresco cafes, antiquarian bookshops and colorful piazzas lined with upscale fashion outlets, boutique hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants. See Largo do Chiado, a picturesque square next to Largo de Cames that's home to one of the city’s best-known cafes, and hop off at Miradouro de Sao Pedro de Alcntara in Bairro Alto for panoramic views over Lisbon.

    Hop on and off at your leisure, or sit and soak up the sights during the tram’s 20-minute route.
