Excellent jeep tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and transferred his enthusiasm to us. We were able to stand up in the jeep and this enhanced the experience. In the middle we got off the road and had a little nature walk in the woods which we enjoyed. We stopped at worthwhile spots. Highly recommended. I would do two of these next time instead of the bus tours.

So we spent the day on a Jeep tour with our charismatic guide Rui. Rui is clearly passionate about the island that he lives on and is very knowledgeable. Rui was friendly and it made for a lovely day out visiting some stunning scenery around Madeira and he also made recommendations about which walks to do and where to eat.
The tour included some fun off-roading where we could stand up in the back of the open top jeep. We went to the sugar cane factory, a trout reserve and too many amazing view points to list. With Ruis brilliant English he was able to act as an interpreter for us when speaking with some of the locals.
He is a credit to TrueSpirit tours and the island of Madeira. -
We enjoyed this adventure it was good fun and we enjoyed an alternative view of the island. Our guide worked hard to show USA good time. We would recommend this activity.
