Experience the "Water Route" - an easy hiking tour in Monchique, Algarve´s highest mountain. You will enjoy hiking for 12 kilometres surrounded by big old trees, providing lots of shade, passing by a small river and the "Holy Fountain".Along the way you will stop by a local bakery where you are going to taste the traditional "Tiborna" (a local snack with bread, olive oil and garlic) and the firewater - only on Saturdays.Enjoy this unusual hiking tour, which is complemented by stops along the beautiful mountain of Monchique, where we can see the bakery, therms and have a dive on the river (depending on weather conditions).
