Your 3-day tour of the Peruvian Amazon includes full board at Hacienda Concepci□n, a comfortable 3-star eco-lodge dedicated to the conservation of the Amazon jungle. Choose a single or double accommodation with a king-size bed or two twin beds, including shared bathrooms with hot water, and enjoy international breakfast, lunch and dinner served every day. This family-friendly lodge offers special activities for the kids (treasure hunts, for example) and adults can unwind at the bar (open until midnight) with a complimentary pisco sour each day at happy hour.

Day 1: Puerto Maldonado Hacienda Concepci□n (L, D)Start your journey upon arrival at Padre Aldamiz International Airport in Puerto Maldonado. You'll be transferred to the Inkaterra Lounge (Butterfly House), where staff will welcome you and provide an orientation for your 3-day stay.
Hop aboard a motorized canoe for an approximate 25-minute ride along the Madre de Dios River to your accommodation at Hacienda Concepci□n. After a buffet lunch including organic ingredients and regional flavors, take an easy nature walk on the property’s Concepci□n Trails, where you’ll learn about the primary and secondary rainforest of the Peruvian Amazon. Your guide will share the components of this amazing ecosystem and its many uses by animals and humans alike.
At dusk, your guide will navigate the Madre de Dios River by motorized canoe on a twilight river excursion. Hear about the Amazonian creeks, nocturnal animal behavior and the southern constellations as you enjoy the evening sky. Afterward, join your group for dinner in the dining room at the lodge.
Overnight: Hacienda Concepci□n in the Peruvian Amazon
Day 2: Lake Sandoval and Inkaterra Canopy Walkway (B, L, D)After taking in a nutritious buffet breakfast, get ready for a trek through terra firma into the Tambopata National Reserve toward Lake Sandoval--located just 1 mile (3km) away. You’ll understand why Madre de Dios is called the biodiversity capital of Peru as you learn about the reserve’s conservation efforts and the lake’s formation.
Paddle by dugout canoe across this mirror-like oxbow lake, home to the endangered giant river otter, blue and yellow macaw, red howler monkey, black caiman and one of the world’s biggest freshwater scaled fish─the paiche. After your explorations, head back to the lodge for lunch.
Later, take a 20-minute motorized canoe ride to the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway Interpretation Center. Learn about the construction of the walkway and hear about local conservation projects. Then, ascend one of the two 98-foot (30-meter) towers and cross the seven hanging bridges that connect the treetops. Enjoy breathtaking vistas and a chance to watch white-throated toucans, woodpeckers, trogons, squirrels, monkeys and even the three-toed sloths.
After your descent, follow your guide along the Anaconda Walk, a 656-foot (200-meter) wooden bridge over the aguajales (swamps). Discover the fauna and flora of his flooded ecosystem during a 30-minute walk, spotting a variety of amphibians, birds and mammals that inhabit the lush marshland.
In the evening, prepare for a hidden rainforest adventure, exploring areas of the Amazon jungle where nocturnal animals display intriguing behavior patterns. Listen to nocturnal nature sounds as you penetrate this hidden world and learn about the enhanced senses these animals have developed as adaptation mechanisms.
Your day ends with a delightful dinner at the lodge.

Day 3: Hacienda Concepci□n Puerto Maldonado (B)After your buffet breakfast, ride back to Puerto Maldonado by outboard motorized canoe. Arrive at the Inkaterra Lounge and visit the beautiful Butterfly House. Learn about the fascinating transformation of these colorful insects, bred in the onsite laboratory, before transferring to the international airport for your onward flight.飯店接送

We just got back from this trip and it was really fun. We had 5 different excursions, all included. We saw several animals, many insects and a large number of plant species. The scenery was great. it was fun to feel so remote, yet be staying in such a nice place. Our guides were all very nice and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. We stayed in one of the cabanas and that was very fun.
One of our excursions was trekking in a very muddy area, but rubber boots were provided. Our group was small, which was good. -
This trip was very enjoyable and relaxing. We spent 3 days and 2 nights on this tour. Our guide Elias was great. He was very knowledgable and you could tell he was very passionate about what he did and was enthusiastic about finding animals for us on all of the outings. There was plenty of activities to do very day but also allowed us to relax which is what we needed after hiking for a week in the Inca trail. The lodging was cozy and we never had to worry about bugs in our room. The food was delicious and we loved that they sourced almost everything right on their property. They would catch the fish we had for lunch right in the river that day and use what they grew in the garden. The only critiques that I had was at lunch and dinner you had to pay for water which in the amazon you have to drink bottled water. I feel like that is something they should have provided as part of the package. I also had a strange incident where my shorts went missing while we were on an excursion and house keeping came in and cleaned the room. Before we went on the excursion they were on the bed. I let the front desk know that they were missing then went out on another excursion. When we got back there was a pair of my pants, which had been put away, sitting on our bed which house keeping insisted were my shorts. I went through my luggage and found my shorts buried underneath clothes which I absolutely know I did not put them in there. I was uncomfortable that they were going through my possessions and in general with the entire situation. Im just happy that I got them back at least.

Nothing to complain about the lodge itself: yummy food, helpful and responsible staff, beautifully designed but I was disappointed by the number of species I saw during the jungle walks and cruise.

Fantastic, my wife and I had an amazing time, a memorable experience. Food excellent, guide superbly knowledgeable and we saw real wild animals birds plants. Loved it

Facilities were fine, but the excursions left a lot to be desired. Guide was clearly disinterested and did not add a lot to the experience. Would definitely not recommend.

Terrible. Never again. Was told that they have a large group and so made us check out from one room at 5 AM and move to another when check out is typically at 11 AM. Was not offered the breakfast and lunch per the itinerary we booked and paid for, and the tour guide did not offer all excursions as paid for total scam! Very unprofessional. Much better tour companies than this-buyer beware!!! Told Viator about their local tour company that treated us poorly and Viator did absolutely nothing!

This was a beautiful place to relax and decompres and get away from technology and just be in the environment. All the employees were very knowledgeable and ready to help in an instant. This was the perfect wind down and relaxation we needed after our 4 day inka trail hike.
