    產品介紹

Your tour begins with pickup from your Mexico City hotel and a walk around Coyoac?n, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Mexico City. Take a stroll along cobblestone streets to small plazas as you learn about the history of this area from your guide.
Stop to admire Coyoac?n’s 16th-century mansions and visit the church of San Juan Bautista, one of the oldest churches in Mexico City. Step inside to see impressive paintings and chapels, then continue your exploration of this vibrant neighborhood with a stop at a local crafts fair, where you can sample a cup of traditional coffee (own expense).
Next, visit the Frida Kahlo Museum, known as La Casa Azul (‘the Blue House’), and learn about the turbulent and colorful life of this world-famous artist. See where Frida Kahlo lived with her husband, the muralist Diego Rivera, and examples of her iconic artwork.
Your tour then takes you to the city of Xochimilco where you'll board a colorful trajinera and have fun sailing through the canals. These gondola-like boats are popular with locals and tourists alike, so you are guaranteed to have a great time.
Your tour ends with return transfer to your Mexico City hotel.

There were three parts to this tour - definitely not all equal in the excitement satisfaction stakes! The first , Coyoacan, was the least interesting, we were left to our own devices to wander around a church, a park and the general area. It was too early for the Saturday to be open so we settled for a hot chocolate at one of the many upmarket cafes. We had been advised by our guide that Mexicans considered it a privilege to reside in Coyoacan as it still provided a feeling of the real Mexico.
Frida Kahlo's home, now a shrine/ museum to her memory was next. As we had tickets already we were able to join the short queue - only about a 10 minute wait to enter. The other queue was considerably longer. Our guide did not accompany us which was not an issue as most info was in both Spanish and English. Be aware that you must pay an extra 30 pesos if you want to take photos inside the house - outside in the garden is free. There is a small cafe, clean toilet amenities and a disappointing souvenir shop. The house itself is a fascinating tribute to an amazing woman for her time and personal suffering.
The final leg of the tour was an invigorating experience onboard one of the many canal boats jostling for right of way on the narrow man made waterways of Xochimilco. Our guide did accompany us this time. A bucket of cold drinks including a variety of beers was on offer under the table. They were not offered to us, we had to ask and it was not until the end that we were asked to pay 30 pesos a bottle - not a problem, except the vendor who was onboard all the time did not have change!! He also tried to sell us jewelry during the cruise. The boats are propelled by one pusher with a very long wooden pole. This should have made for a quiet trip - no motors- but that's not the idea. Families were out in force celebrating life! They bring their own food - we had none - and hire Mariachi bands - there were plenty, together creating a Mexican cacophony of sound! An exciting vibe all round.
Our guide Miguel was very experienced and knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. He conducted our small group tour - 4 people- in both English and Spanish.

I would not recommend this tour nor would I recommend the local tour company operator, Mexitours. On the day of our trip, we were told by Mexitours to meet their driver in the hotel lobby promptly at 8:45AM. We were there and their driver did arrive at 8:50AM, but they did not have my name on their list of passengers to pick up. That was the beginning of the confusion. Then, we drove to many hotels all over Mexico City picking up other passengers. By the time we got to the central meeting point for all passengers and all excursions for the day, it was already about 9:25 or so. Then we were put on our tour bus for the Coyoac?n, Xochimilco and Frida Kahlo Museum. We waited and waited and were given NO updates neither by the guide or the supervisor who was coordinating this entire fiasco. Then, all passengers were told to get off the bus because they needed our bus for another of their groups going to another destination. At this point it was about 9:45AM or so. So, there we all were standing out in the morning cold. Several people at this point needed to use a restroom, but Mexitours chosen meeting point for all their tours had no bathroom facility at all nor were there any local establishments with toilets that passengers could use. So, everybody was forced to stand out in the cold and just to suffer being unable to use a restroom. Finally, at about 10:00AM, we were all told to get on another bus, so we all did, and we waited about another 10 minutes, but just as we were getting ready to drive away, passengers noticed that the air conditioning located in the ceiling of the van was leaking water all over several passengers seated underneath. The driver ran off somewhere and came back with another employee of Mexitours with toilet paper and began to wipe up and dry off the water with toilet paper. At this point it was hilarious! So, once everything was dried, we finally departed the meeting point at about 10:20. Now, keep in mind we were told we would have an 8:45 pickup. So, we finally began our tour about an hours and 35 minutes late! These places are far away from the city center as well, so it took another hours just to get to destination number one. Once we arrived, it was all fine. The Friday Kahlo Museum is FANTASTIC and I would highly recommend it, but Xochimilco is a tourist trap and not worth the money or your time! Go see something else instead, but do manage to go see the Frida Kahlo Musuem by Uber which has been safe, clean, easy and hassle free. This way you will not have to go on a group tour. Also, the Frida Kahlo Museum requires tickets by appointment AHEAD of TIME. I hope you have found this helpful.

Our driver/guide Miguel was amazing! The trip was a nice half day and made it super easy to visit places that would've been a lot more work to get to on our own. The Frida house was incredible and the float down the canals in Xochimilco was so much fun with delicious food on board.

Our tour was operated by Mexitours. It says in the listings picks up from hotels in the Zona Rosa, that was a perk for us because it's where we were staying. They said we were out of range so we had to catch a cab to the meeting point, not a huge deal. But they were a half hour late, another couple waiting for a different Mexitour had been there for an hour and a half..not a great impression.
The Frida museum was nice, and downtown Cayoacan is a cool area. But our guide did minimal guiding and instead really enjoyed telling sexist jokes about marriage.
Xochimilco was the real disappointment. I love flowers so the idea of rafting through floating gardens sounded magical, it's not at all. It's essentially a booze cruise tourist trap. There are just wall to wall boats of tourists, bachelor parties, people selling souvenirs, food vendors. There were islands with plants but we didn't stop at any of them and you could barely see them for all the junk in our way. If you're looking to party on the water, this is totally your bag, but it's not what we wanted.

All the places were beautiful Humberto was a great tour guide with a great personality! Coyoacan had beautiful homes and xochimilco was very fun! The Frida Kahlo museum was amazing I would definitely recommend and the audio provided a lot of info wish I took more pictures there!!!

A wonderful tour, guide was charming, helpful and willing to answer many varied questions about Mexico City. Frida Kahlo museum exceeded expectations - well worth the trip, but a little crowded. Saw a wedding in Coyoacan and enjoyed the market in San Angel - it was the last day of our holiday - made an excellent end to the trip.

The Frida Kahlo Museum is a must see in Mexico City and our guide Umberto was a fund of information about Frida, her life and times. The Coyoacan part of the tour was a mixture of drive-by and walking around a fascinating district, quite different from anything else in Mexico City with an opportunity to see the artists of today plying for business in a tree shaded square. The traffic back to downtown was horrendous but that's Mexico City.

Terrible! We were picked up late. The guide could not be heard at the back of the bus. When it became hot, we had to ask for the air conditioner and the bus would not run. The guide left us most of the time. We found a cab and left the tour.
