Inside Chankanaab (‘Little Sea’) Beach Adventure Park, an eco-nature reserve within Cozumel’s National Marine Park, head over to the natural dolphinarium for your 3-hour dive program. Start off with a safety briefing and instruction on using scuba gear from experienced trainers.
Divers of all levels, certified and noncertified, may participate. Try out your skills near Chankanaab Reef, a dive site with gentle currents perfect for beginners. During your practice dives, you might spot puffer fish, sea turtles, lobsters and colorful coral.
Two hours in, you’re back at the dolphinarium, where the waters run about 25 feet (8 meters) deep. Slip on your gear, jump in and revel in a magical hour with dolphins.
Greet your new friends with hugs, and maybe even steal a kiss or stroke their smooth skin. Your underwater vantage point gives you unique, close-up views of the dolphins’ grace and agility. Watch them leap and flip out of the water, and circle you with barrel rolls. Listen to them click, whistle and sing; the trainers will fill you in on what these marvelous mammals are saying.
Photographers and videographers are on-site to capture your time with the dolphins. Pictures and CDs will be available for purchase by the time you leave Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park. ( (
After the program, explore the park’s amenities. Swim in a pool, or snorkel (equipment available for rental) near the reef and limestone caves swirling with fish. Wander through the botanical garden featuring plants from all over the world. Want some downtime? Settle into a hammock under a palapa (a lounge area with a thatched roof). Then freshen up inside the changing rooms before returning to your hotel.
Please note: Trainers are there to make sure both humans and dolphins are safe. That said, we are sensitive to the issues surrounding dolphinariums and animal tours. We recognize that this activity isn't suitable for everyone.行程概要出發地點
