    Starting out from your hotel in the morning, departKuala Lumpur fora 1.5-hour drivethrough the countryside. You'll pass by a palm oil plantation and jungle landscape, thenstop at a Chinese temple and the 'Wishing Tree' along the way.
    After another stop at Redang Beach your guide takes youto the fishing village of Sekinchan for a fresh seafood lunch. Then continue on to theSekinchan rice fields where,depending on the time of year, the colors vary from planting toharvesting season. Learn about the history of thismajor rice-producing regionat the local museum.
    On your way out of Sekinchan you'llvisit Nan Tian Temple andMelawati Hill, a former fortwith an antique cannon facing the Straits of Malacca. Whilehere, it is likely you will encounter the local inhabitants: the silvered leaf monkeys.
    Proceedonward toward Kuala Selangor for a seafood dinner served atthe riverside around sunset. Once dinner has finished and night is upon you,joinyour boat ride through the mangroves to view the fireflies. You will be amazed by these mesmerizing insectsin an area known to have one of the largest colonies in the world.
    Your day trip concludes with the return transfer to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

    Lovely tour, did so much in one day couldn't tell you all of it but definitely do this, so good to see the real Malaysian way of life in the countryside, rice fields and local fishing village. Fireflies were really spectacular, take mosquito repellent!!
