Begin your half-day tour of Kuala Lumpur with pickup from your hotel. Aboard a comfortable coach, you’ll discover how, despite Malaysia’s rapid development, this capital city has retained its old-world charm, as seen in its skyline that blends old and new influences.
Pass old buildings whose Indo-Moorish architecture reflects Malaysia's colonial days. You'll notice a stark contrast between these sites and the modern edifices of contemporary skyscrapers such as the Petronas Twin Towers, two of the tallest buildings in the world! Make your first photo stop here and marvel at the grandeur of this world-renowned landmark.
Head to the Kuala Lumpur Craft Centre to browse cultural exhibits showcasing Malaysian handicrafts, from batik (dyed cloth) and rattan (a type of palm) displaying traditional motifs to baskets and pottery carved with tiny intricacies. Then, explore the Cocoa Boutique to discover Malaysia’s booming cocoa industry and shop for delectable chocolate treats including milk and dark chocolates, chili chocolates and fruit-flavored chocolates.
Make another photo stop at King's Palace (Istana Negara) to admire the vastness of this compound and the intricate metalwork on the palace gates, which display the Royal Insignia of Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the former king of Malaysia.
You’ll then visit the National Monument, a sculpture commemorating the fallen soldiers of Malaysia's fight for freedom from the British during the mid-1900s. Afterward, you’ll be driven to the National Museum, whose architecture blends traditional Malaysian and modern elements. The tour guide is in old ages, shes good in talking and explaining about the city but not in showing around the places and she cant even walk with us during the city tour as obviously its really hard for her to walk and even go out in the bus.

OK, I admit that the rating is mostly because our guide. Unfortunately I forgot his name, and older Indian man - the only guide who was dressed in shirt and wore ties. I booked a few tours here for my trip, but I'm sure he was the best guide I had during my trip. He knew everything about the city and the sights, and was willing to share it. He was also open for private conversation during the stops.
This tour covers a lot of KL, so it is a good way to get to know the city. Because of the distances, there is a lot of riding during the stops. There is still enough time at every stop to enjoy the sight. -
We had a lovely guide and saw some interesting things that you wouldnt normally drag yourself around in the heat for. Having said that it was pretty boring. On the coach, stop at destination for 5min photo op. Back on the coach to next stop. And so on. Really not worth it.

The tour was dreadful. Not only do we have to pay extra for pickup services but the tour itself wasted our time by making us wait for too long at our hotel and at the place where we were dispatched to wait for the smelly coach. I hated the journey

The tour was very informative and we enjoyed it. As with any tour they take you to local businesses in hopes for tourists to buy chocolate, silk, etc. That wasn't bad because it took us to little areas we normally would not have seen. It was authentic.
The Twin Tower stop was five minutes, so plan going there on your own. That is the best part of the city.
Hotel pick up and drop off was easy and we enjoyed the tour. -
