This overnight trip from Tokyo takes you to the best sights of Mt Fuji! At the end of the day, soak at the onsen -- traditionally public baths where both men and women bathed and socialized together, but nowadays generally separated into male and female sections. Depending on which option you select, enjoy accommodations in Atami (including dinner and breakfast) or Hakone. Day 1: Tokyo Mt Fuji Hakone or Atami
Leave Tokyo behind as you travel to the stunning countryside of Hakone. After pickup by coach from Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal, depart with your guide for the Mt Fuji Visitors Center to learn about the heritage and cultural significance of this famous mountain. Spend approximately 20 minutes exploring exhibits that describe the ecological formation, weather and history of Mt Fuji and its surrounding area, and head to the 2nd-floor observatory deck for up-close views.Next, climb up to the fifth station, located 7,560 feet (2,304 meters) above sea level, to admire more impressive views of Mt Fuji and the surrounding lakes (weather dependent). After 30 minutes at this 'border between heaven and earth,' decorated with tori gates and shrines, enjoy a typical Japanese lunch.
Afterward, take a 15-minute scenic cruise on Lake Ashi, nestled in the caldera of Mt Hakone, and see full-scale replicas of man-of-war sailing ships ferrying tourists around the lake. You'll have breathtaking photo opportunities and catch sight of Mt Fuji from every angle!Then, take the ropeway (aerial gondola) to the summit of Mt Komagatake for a stunning panorama over Hakone National Park, as well as Lake Ashi, Izu Peninsula and Izu Islands.Option 1: Hakone (L)After your tour, your guide will transfer you to your hotel in Hakone, where western-style rooms offer all the comforts and facilities you would expect. Take a dip in the healing waters of the onsen and look out over Lake Ashi as you indulge in a moment of relaxation.Overnight: Prince Hakone Hotel in HakoneOption 2: Atami (L, D)After your tour, your guide will transfer you to Odawara Station. From here, ride the Kodama bullet train (own expense) to Atami Station and make your own way to your hotel in the evening and take in the ocean views. After check-in, head to the dining room between 6:30-8pm and enjoy dinner with a Japanese and western-style set menu. Later, relax in your Japanese-style room and soak at the onsite onsen.Overnight: Hotel New Akao in AtamiDay 2: Hakone or Atami TokyoSpend your free and unguided day in the onsen, immersing in Japan's time-honored tradition as you soak in the soothing springs. As an alternative, explore Hakone or Atami (depending on option selected) on your own before returning by bullet train to Tokyo.Option 1: HakoneIf you'd like, use your included Hakone Pass to explore the area at your leisure. Your pass allows you to travel on the Hakone Tozan bus or train, the Hakone ropeway, the Hakone sightseeing ship, the Numazu Tozan Tokai bus and the Odakyu express bus.
Afterward, you may use your Hakone pass to make your own way to Odawara Station by local bus or train and return to Tokyo by Shinkansen bullet train, arriving at around 8pm.Option 2: Atami (B)After a buffet breakfast at your hotel, enjoy free time for the remainder of your day. Then, make your way to Atami Station and board the Kodama bullet train (non-reserved seating at own expense) to Tokyo. Your 50-minute ride passes through Shin-Yokohama and Shinagawa Station, and you may disembark at the station of your choice until the train reaches its final destination.飯店接送

The tour was amazing..
Althought it would be better of the guide inform us that the store at hakone area is closed at 5pm..But overall was great

Great way to experience Mt Fuji and Hakone. The guide on the bus was a fantastic character with a lot of knowledge to share. The second day with out a guide is a great way to see Hakone. The ropeways offer amazing views! Great value for money and well organised tour.

The tour was ok. The day trip portion to Hakone and the my Fuji section was good. Not sure I would recommend the overnight stay in Hakone. The tour basically abandons you after 4pm on the first day and leaves you to fend for yourself, in the ghost town which is Hakone.

Great tour. Because of the weather we could only go up to the first station of the Fuji, still the view was amazing. The hotel was far more exquisite than I expected.

Our tour guide Harry was thorough in explanations of both the information we needed for our overnight stay as well as giving us historical and cultural insights of the region and Japan in general.

Too much avtivities and places to visit in such a short time for Mt Fuji. Hakobe is super place. Another one day for Hakone will have been perfect. Lots of places and ville to visit and walk about.

Our guide Amy was knowledgeable, personable, and extremely helpful by taking the initiative to make everyone feel comfortable, such as when she sat beside each person to make sure they knew how to return to their Tokyo hotel.
The Prince Hakone hotel was a highlight. The French restaurant was superb. The architecture was graciously designed. The grounds were peaceful and afforded an unexpected perfect view of Mt Fuji in the morning. The free shuttle service to the Shinkansen station was most appreciated. -
The best part was the day at the onsen on Lake Ashi (prince Hakone hotel). The first day at Mt Fuji felt rushed but the guide was really nice.
