In the morning, your guide meets you at your selected hotel and accompanies you by subway to a local kimono shop in Roppongi ─ home to many foreign embassies, popular nightlife venues and Roppongi Hills, a city within a city that is a destination in its own right.After you’re welcomed into a shop adorned with authentic Japanese clothing, you’re whisked away to try on a colorful kimono, beautifully designed with traditional patterns and fabrics. An undergarment gown is tied in place, followed by the kimono and an obi secured around your waist. Listen as your guide explains Japan’s historical custom of kimono wearing by both women and men. Consisting of long, T-shaped robes, kimonos are still worn by Japanese on special occasions, especially weddings.Once you are dressed in this traditional garb, including Japanese sandals called geta ─ worn with split-toe socks called tabi ─ your guide takes you out for a 30-minute walk around Roppongi. As you stroll the streets, stop for elegant photo ops along the way.Note: In the event of rain, you’ll relocate indoors for a traditional serving of Japanese tea and sweets at a teahouse.After changing back into your regular clothes, your experience concludes at Roppongi Station, where your guide can point you in the direction of your hotel or your next sightseeing destination.行程概要出發地點
