Disembark your ship at the cruise point in Fira, and then meet your guide, board a luxury, air-conditioned car or minivan (depending on the size of your private group) and set off to explore the island’s southern coast. As you travel, ask your private guide any questions you may have and be wowed by stunning views of the caldera, undulating vineyards and whitewashed houses.Stop briefly for photos at the lighthouse on the island’s southern tip before visiting a family-run store to sample homemade delicacies such as sundried tomatoes, capers and goat cheese.Next, get a taste of old-world Greece as you journey through Pyrgos village. Then, continue to the Monastery of Profitis Ilias, situated at the highest point of Santorini, where panoramic island views await.After, return to your minivan and travel to the starting point of your hike from the capital of Fira to Oia. The complete hike takes around 2 hours and follows a route that is mostly flat and well-maintained, but at times steep and uneven. With your guide leading the way, set off along the well-trodden footpath. Marvel at the unbeatable views of the island and the caldera, stopping frequently to take photos, rest your legs and refresh with a provided sandwich, soft drinks and water.Depending on your private group’s preference and skill level, you can choose whether you want to hike the entire route or just the most scenic parts of it. Alternatively, if you do not wish to hike at all, ask your guide to drive you to the most popular spots along the route to capture the Santorini landscapes with your camera.After your hike, conclude your tour with a drop-off back at the cruise port in Fira.Worry-free Shore Excursion:We will ensure your timely return to Fira cruise port for this activity.
