Start with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Kalambaka or Trikala (selected hotels only), and then relax as you’re whisked to the launch site in an air-conditioned vehicle.On arrival, meet your host and sip on a cup of coffee as you listen to a safety briefing and watch your private, brightly colored hot-air balloon inflate. Then, step inside the balloon’s basket and take to the skies with your pilot.Gaze out over Meteora, known for its surreal rocky landscape and clifftop monasteries, as the sun rises in the sky, casting its warm rays over the valley below. Have your camera ready to capture to the age-old monasteries that cling to towering limestone pinnacles, and see, too, the dense pine forests, mountain peaks, rapid streams and alpine lakes of Pindus National Park.Back at the launch site, after your 1.5-hour flight, receive a commemorative flight certificate and toast to your experience with a bottle of Champagne and a selection of sandwiches.
