As a traveler to a foreign country, it’s not easy getting a sense of what real life is like in a place. But this 3-hour cooking lesson and meal in a private home might do just that.Make your own way to the local home in central Athens. Then, after meeting your host and the rest of your small group, the cooking instruction gets underway. The dishes created during your class vary, however, you will always cook enough food to comprise a 3-course meal. Help chop herbs to make refreshing dips such as tzatziki and learn how to make savory treats such as cheese pies and traditional Greek pasta.After cooking your food, take a seat with your host and dine on the delicious Greek meal you’ve created alongside a glass or wine or a soft drink.
