Meet your private guide at your central Nuremberg hotel in the morning or afternoon, and set off on your 2- or 3-hour private tour. The itinerary can be tailored to your particular interests, so if there are places you want to spend more or less time at, talk to your guide.
Drive around the walled Old Town as your guide recounts Nuremberg’s troubled past. From the Reformation to the Renaissance and Nazi Third Reich, the city was pivotal to many world-changing historical events.
Admire the timber-framed houses and take in the Beautiful Fountain (Sch ner Brunnen) and cobbled marketplace (Hauptmarkt), where Nuremberg hosts its annual Christmas market (Christkindlmarkt).
As you drive, hear about Nuremberg’s days as a center of the Holy Roman Empire, and note its medley of architecture. See the Gothic St Sebaldus Church (Sebalduskirche), take photos of Albrecht-D□rer-Haus, the 15th-century home of Renaissance artist D□rer, and view the city walls and Nuremberg Castle.
Next, take in some of Nuremberg’s Nazi monuments. When Adolf Hitler took power in Germany 1933, the city became a hub of Nazi propaganda, and as such, was chosen as the site of the post-World War II trials of Nazi leaders.
Drive to the Nazi Party rally grounds, used by Hitler to glorify the Nazi cult. Go inside the complex and see the Luitpold Arena, Congress Hall and Zeppelin Field, all used for mass rallies and military parades.
Continue to the Nuremberg Palace of Justice (Justizpalast), where the 1945-49 Nuremberg War Trials were staged. Take in the exterior and, if you wish, visit Nuremberg Trial Courthouse (own expense, and if court is not in use), scene of the notorious 1945-46 trial of 24 Nazi criminals.
Finish with a drop-off at your hotel, or, if you want to continue exploring, at the old marketplace or one of Nuremberg’s museums.行程概要出發地點

Our guide Chris was very knowledgeable and used a vehicle which meant we could fit a lot in. We started with a tour of old town Nuremberg and finished with the WWII rally grounds. Chris gave a comprehensive explanation of the history. However, Chris was all business and this tour felt rushed with little time to take in each site properly and the tour ended 30 munites early. This is tour is good if you want a quick overview and then go back to the sites that interest you to explore them in more detail.

If you are looking for a World War II Nuremberg history tour, I wouldn't recommend this tour. It is highly focused on the old town tour. However, if the old town is what you are interested in, this is a good tour. I gave it 3 stars for this reason.

Only saw things from car or outside. Not worth the money. Could have hired a cab to do the same thing for half the cost.

We were told to be at the main entrance to the train station. I was not getting phone service so the driver was unable to contact us. We were looking for someone with a sign - I was holding one. Finally we used an alternate phone to contact. The taxi driver finally personally walked to the area. The taxi was small and cramped for 4 adults. I had a hard time seeing out of the window. The driver seemed knowledgable but spoke too fast to understand everything he was saying. He should turn off the telephone while giving a tour.

Our tour was great. It was so nice to have a private guide rather than being moved about in a crowd with an earpiece lodged in your ear to allow you to listen to the tour guide. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. Overall a worthwhile experience.
