產品介紹
Meet your guide in front of Nuremberg Station, and stroll around the city’s Old Town, admiring the pretty timber-framed houses and cobblestone streets clustered around Nuremberg Castle and the Hauptmarkt the bustling central square. As you walk, hear tales of the city’s past from bygone days as a center of the Holy Roman Empire to its days under the dark spell of the Nazis during the Third Reich.
Nuremberg’s architecture beckons to its layered history, too, and many examples of the city’s different architectural styles are covered on your tour. Admire St Lawrence Church rebuilt after World War II and pass Sch ner Brunnen, a replica of a 14th-century water feature that aptly translates as the ‘beautiful fountain.’ Walk around the medieval city walls, stop for photos outside Albrecht D□rer House and stroll through Nuremberg Castle’s Imperial courtyards.
The next part of your tour involves a trip by the town’s efficient public transport either by bus or train. Your ticket is included in your tour so simply hop aboard with your guide, and then disembark at the Nuremberg’s Nazi party rally grounds.
Head inside and explore the grounds with your guide, seeing intriguing places like the half-finished Congress Hall a gigantic building that Hitler planned to use for party meetings and the Great Street that was designed purely for parades. Gaze at the largest Third Reich buildings where Hitler inspected members of the Schutzstaffel (the SS, the Nazi secret police). Your visit also includes entry to the Documentation Center (own expense), the large on-site museum that exhibits information on key wartime and post-war events like the Nuremberg Trials.
If you want to spend longer at the Documentation Center, then finish your tour inside and browse the exhibitions independently. Alternatively, return to central Nuremberg by public transport with your guide, finishing your tour by the start point.行程概要出發地點

We had booked this tour for the 26th of December, good news is that not many people around but dad news is almost everything was closed.Interesting in seeing the party grounds.

Walking tour, it was snowing and cold, however, Jason was knowledgeable and informative. Would love to take this tour in the spring.

We did this tour and our guide was an Englishman named Jeff. We met outside the Central train station. I think the tour would have been better if it was just the Nazi Rally Grounds. We did the old town tour first. Jeff has a very fast pace and he was way ahead of everyone. There were a few people that were struggling. At the beginning there was an elderly couple who dropped out due to the fast pace. Jeff knew his stuff but he should not go racing ahead. At times I had to run to catch up to him if I wanted to take photos. If he just did the Nazi Rally Grounds tour he could perhaps go a bit slower and not have everyone racing to catch him up. It felt more like an endurance event than a history tour. The Documentation Centre has so much to see. We decided to stay longer and make our own way back. If you were going to go back with Jeff you did not get long to see all the things.

Sanbri was very informative and knowledgeable. Learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed it. Kept out interest throughout the walk. There was a lot of walking!

Learned a lot and was able to see many more sights than I would have on my own. Would recommend this tour to others.

Jason did a really nice job of answering question and taking making sure were all on the same bus and taking good care of us.

My Guide was a seemingly nice enough guy! However, he also seemed a bit consumed with our lunch break! The Toyr was too fast and I abandoned it and went solo... a good thing!

It was an absolute privilege to be escorted by Chris on this walking tour. His knowledge base was inexhaustible and he made the tour informative and highly enjoyable. A relaxed and engaging manner was coupled with utmost professionalism. It was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay in Nuremberg and we really cannot thank him enough

Our guide was a British gentleman who'd come from Munich for the day I believe his name was Jeff. He did a very good job leading us through the old town area, touching upon both the historical context for the area as well as it's evolution to today. He had a loud voice, lots of knowledge, and injected humour and personal touches throughout. We then took a bus to the Nazi Rally Grounds area, which is across town and seeing the scale of these buildings gave a real feel of the power they held at that time.
The reason I didn't give 5 stars has nothing to do with the tour guide quality, it was that the group was simply too large, meaning he had to spend more time herding people and waiting for stragglers to catch up. He admittedly walked very fast, but there was so much to see that he really had to keep the pace up. This meant lunch break was very short and you basically had one choice which was tasty but small, and in order to stick to his timeline at the end there was no chance you could really go through the documentation centre fully and catch the last bus back. We were totally fine finding our own way back in order to fully experience the documentation centre which is very interesting and gives a sombre look at the events that caused the rise of National Socialism as well as the repercussions and how Germany has dealt with the aftermath, but just know that to get through and catch a free ride back to town with him, you'd have to skip about 1/2 the audio tour or be able to read everything without the audio guide all text is in German. The bus ride there was also very packed, again due to the large group which took up 3/4 of the bus. Certainly well worth it, but just tough with such a large group as there was a lot of walking and time spent waiting for folks to catch up to the group.
Overall I would definitely recommend doing this tour, and the guide himself. With a slightly smaller group it would easily be 5 stars, we may have just picked a busy day.
