    Meet your expert guide at Munich Central Train Station in the morning or afternoon. Then hop on your bike and start a 3-hour cycling adventure around Munich. Set a pace that suits you: You’ll have your knowledgeable guide all to yourself on a ride that spans six miles (10 km).
    Let your guide do the navigating as you cruise down ritzy royal boulevards and squares, such as Konigsplatz and Odeonsplatz. These imposing neoclassical plazas were built at the order of 19th-century Bavarian King Ludwig I. Today, they are among the grandest locations in the city.
    Next, pedal past the landscaped lawns of the English Garden, one of the largest public parks in the world. In between spurts of cycling, pull over for breaks. While you’re resting your legs, listen to your guide share tips on biking in Munich and historical tidbits about the city itself. Stop for refreshments in a beer garden (own expense), then hop back on your bike to get moving again.
    Head away from the huge green swathe of the English Garden park and work your way along the pretty banks of the Isar River, which cuts through the city of Munich. Next, venture into the medieval Munich Old Town. This pedestrianized zone is a haven for cyclists, and your local guide can recommend the best routes to take. As you zip along the curved and cobbled lanes, expect to see recognizable landmarks such as the central Marienplatz square and the Gothic New Town Hall.
    After enjoying the sights, smells and sounds of Munich on two wheels, follow your guide back to Munich Central Train Station, where the tour concludes.

    We had our own tour guide who spoke English since there were only the two of us that signed up. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about Munich. He took us to some out of the way places that were very interesting and Munich is pretty flat so it was easy to travel around on the bike.
