Your tour will start with your guide meeting you at the central station or any other place which is in the city center. During the 2-hour tour you will learn about the historic background of this more than 1200 year old city, its sights and its development to one of the leading trading and port cities in the world. With some luck you may even get to see big cruisers, container ships or sailing boats.
Visit the beautiful, lake like Aussenalster and continue on to the heart of the city, the oldest part of Hamburg with town hall, the oldest shopping street and Hamburg's oldest church. Witness an amazing panoramic view of the harbor line and explore the old warehouse district, a national monument that is about to become a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Continue your journey with a visit to HafenCity, the latest, most innovative district of Hamburg, right at the Elbe's shore with the iconic and unique Elbphilharmonic hall.
