Leave the city of Frankfurt behind, and travel to the southwest corner of Germany by luxury coach. You'll head to the northern edge of Germany's Black Forest (Schwarzwald) to discover the sunny region of deep-green woodland that covers the mountains in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg.
The first stop on your day trip will be in Baden-Baden, a chic Black Forest spa town, for sightseeing with your expert guide. Visit the famous Belle Epoque Kurhaus Casino, one of the oldest and most beautiful gambling houses in Europe. Enjoy a guided tour of the historic casino (if open), admire the extravagant interior furnishings and soak in the ch teau-like atmosphere.
Your day trip continues with a scenic round-trip tour through the vast, deep-green woods of the Black Forest, known for being the inspiration for traditional cuckoo clocks and the delicious Black Forest cake. Marvel at the unspoiled nature and stop at the idyllic Lake Mummelsee, which has become the subject of several legends about mermaids and a mysterious underwater castle.

This tour was excellent! Hans was our wonderful guide and we were very fortunate to be in a group of 4 plus Hans. Baden-Baden is a pretty and quaint town with interesting things to see, but one of the highlights was Lake Mummelsee and the famous Black Forest cake..mmm devine! We even had time to cross the border into France to visit Strasbourg, another highlight! Absolutely loved the scenery along the way, which never failed to impress! We had the best day with Tony, Jill and Hans who was helpful, easy going and never made us feel rushed. Lovely memories of a perfect day out from Frankfurt!!!

This tour was excellent! We were very lucky with our guide Peter--he was knowledgeable, helpful, and an excellent driver. He even too k us to Strasburg, France, which was a pleasant surprise.

Great tour but not long enough to enjoy all parts of tour. Very informative guide but he drove too fast on the U barn. Lunch should have been part of this tour and longer time in the Black Forest is what we would have liked.

This trip to blackforest was breathtaking but to Baden Baden was just normal and nothing spectacular, a very small town but the tour guide Peter was awesome.

Not a bad trip after all it is the Black Forest and there is a lot of beautiful scenery. Seven of us and a guide in a minivan covered the highlights and saw some beautiful places. A bit disorganized was far as when and where we were doing things. Our lunch consisted of slice of processed turkey with a pickle slice on a couple slices of bread that we ate in the van. I felt there wasn't really good value for the money.

Really enjoyable day tour. It only gives a taste of the black forest when coming from Frankfurt, due to the distance, but what we saw was very beautiful. Baden Baden extremely interesting and beautiful place to stop along the way. We thought that peter was an amazing guide,interesting commentary, easy going and never made us feel rushed.

Peter was our gracious, educated, patient host for the day who spoke good English thoughout the tour. It was only a 2 hours drive from Frankfurt to the pretty and quaint town of Baden Baden. We then proceeded to the castle which had a good view of the Black Forrest. However the highlight was Lake Mummelsee, such a gorgeous lake where we had the famous Black Forret Cake and the opportunity to shop for local souveniers such as the cuckoo clock. Highly recommended!
