Frankfurt City Highlights Tour (10am): Start your day with a sightseeing tour of Frankfurt by double-decker bus, showing you the many facets of the city including its mix of Baroque and modern architecture, lively plazas and impressive skyscrapers.
Listen to your audio guide as you cruise through the Museumsufer (Museum Embankment) and the sleek European banking center, marked by tall skyscrapers that characterize the city's imposing skyline. See the European Central Bank (Eurotower), the Stock Exchange, the Old Opera House and Goethe House, the former home of 18th-century literary genius Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe.
Admire the Romer town hall, constructed in the 15th century and once the site of celebrations during the elections and coronations of emperors. Continue to St Paul's Church, Frankfurt Cathedral (Gotischer Kirchturm) and Hauptwache, a famous Baroque plaza surrounded by modern buildings.
Rhine Valley Day Trip (11:15am): Your Frankfurt sightseeing tour is directly followed by a day trip to the lovely German countryside! You'll explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed part of the Rhine Valley, from Rudesheim to Sankt Goarshausen.
Travel by air-conditioned coach past romantic villages, pretty vineyards and medieval castles all spread across the massive valley, which stretches 766 miles (1,232 km) from Switzerland to the North Sea.
Stop at a riverside restaurant for lunch (included) before continuing to Sankt Goarshausen, where you'll board a steamer boat for a relaxing Rhine River cruise. Pass iconic Loreley Rock along the way.
Back at the harbor, disembark and head to a wine shop for a wine-tasting session. Sample local wines and learn about local winemaking, and then take time to explore the town's wine bars and shops at your leisure.
On the way back to Frankfurt, stop in Rudesheim to briefly see the Drosselgasse, a 15th-century lane in Old Town. This narrow, cobblestone pedestrian street is brimming with lively restaurants, music venues, wine taverns and gardens.

We could skip the Frankfurt drive around. It's a tape that is not in sync with where you are. The tram ride for 5 euros is not worth it because all you see are trees. The cruise was pretty good, we did see lots of castles and vineyards. The restaurant where we had lunch had poor service and we were served a turkey schnitzel dry with French fries. The wine tasting was on the return at the same restaurant. The worse part was towards the end of our trip when the tour-guide walked through our bus/coach with a tip box in his hand and stopped at every passenger. Absolutely gauche.

The trip was amazing! We now have many good memories to take home with us. Our tour guide Michael had a great sense of humour and made us laugh many times. In addition to being very informative and professional, Michael was also incredibly polite and friendly! Our tour was very well organized. We had enough time to see all the good sights. I highly recommend this tour.

It was a great way to see a few places in a short trip. The wine tasting was more about selling wine to us than wines tasting in a U.S. Vineyard which is an event in itself but I enjoyed the day.

The tour was a very poor offer. First, we had the City Tour, with ended up to be a Hop-on an off bus, that lasted only 30 minutes. We then hay to wait 30 more minutes for the River tour. After driving for half hour, we had to stop at a gas station for 25 minutes for a passenger that was left.
After the driver created a lot of expectations we arrived at the Anchor restaurant for lunch, the food was worst than at a fast food. Service was awful. They only gave us a plain plate with frozen french fries and a small piece of breaded turkey, no sauce no vegetables. Also, not even Tap Water or dessert were included in the luncheon. I was so shock that forgot to take a photo of the plate.
The River cruise was not even a tour, we basically jump on a boat and when back and forth, for around an hour and only hear like 3 explanations.
The wine tasting was a joke only 4 very little samples, 1/4 of a plastic shot glass - please see photo - that lasted less than 15 minutes. Then we had two more stops at a statute and stores at a town nearby the statue, it was dark and most of them were closed so we couldn't see anything. The driver, Michael, keep saying we were off season, and its like this. He also kept saying we are going to get a lot of traffic coming back to Frankfurt, something unexpected or at least we should have known in advance. He also made a lot of politically incorrect comments, like for example saying to one of the passengers, you Japanese? you like to take many photos, and she was actually from Hawaii. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

We saw some wonderful sights on this tour, but the experience was not what I expected. From the description, I expected to spend most of the day on the Rhine River, but instead the majority of the day was spent on a small bus with only one hour on the river. Lunch was served very late about 2:00 PM in very small portions with only 2 options - boiled vegetables and rice or chicken schnitzel and fries. The restaurant's servers were unfriendly. Drinks including water cost extra and were overpriced. We later returned to that same restaurant with the same servers for a wine tasting that included tiny sips about 20 mL or 1 fl oz of only 4 wines.

This was a very enjoyable day trip! Especially the riverboat ride down the Rhine river....beautiful countryside and many castles!! The wine tasting at the end wasn't all that but the rest of the day was wonderful! Would definitely recommend! George was a great guide...very informative and also loved the ski lift ride down!! What a view!!

Well worth the trip. Our guide, Michael was amazing. Funny but seriously knowledgeable and able to speak 4 languages. I was fortunate to have a brilliant day for the cruise. Only complaint was that choice of lunch was not that good. Restaurant was extremely characteristic but included choice was not grand. I would definitely do it again.

Fun guide, beautiful tour. We did the city tour, and the river tour and the Germania statue.

This was a good drive out to the Rhine Valley and a good riverboat ride back. Our guy was funny and informative. If there were anything to improve, I would suggest that the wine tasting include some decent wines and the lunch have better food.
