What are an idyllic Russian village, churches from the Italian Renaissance, and an 18th-century Dutch town doing in Potsdam? You'll learn all about the history behind the city of Potsdam on this walking tour, including how the city's landscape changed after World War II.
See the site of the famous 1945 conference between the United States, Soviet Union, and United Kingdom at Cecilienhof Palace. Then pass the reconstructed Greek temple and lakeside setting of King Frederick William II’s Marble Palace. Head through the 18th-century Nauener Gate and into the Dutch quarter.
Pause for lunch at a restaurant of your choice in the city center (own expense). Afterward, travel through Potsdam’s own Brandenburg Gate to the UNESCO-listed Sanssouci Palace and Gardens.

The tour guide was magnificent and the tour was beautiful. It was condensed so you will walk alot but Potsdam is wonderful so you will enjoy this trip!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
Rosi, the person that checked us in, was INCREDIBLY rude!! She immediately insulted us and didnt provide us with any valuable information. As an individual in the tourism industry, you expect a certain level of customer service and professionalism Rosi did not posses either. I expect to be treated with respect as a paying customer, and this did not happen.
Our tour guide was over 40 minutes late, leaving the tourists sitting around in the heat with no information. The other Original Berlin Walks employees did not provide any information either, as they were too busy talking and laughing with each other like a bunch of high school kids. Due to our guide being late, we missed our train to Potsdam so we had to take multiple other lines some of which were missed in order to get there - yet another waste of time and money. However, none of this was as bad as the way Rosi spoke to us when we first arrived. Our tour was ruined within the first 5 minutes and I would like my money back!
Our tour guide was okay. He had a lot of information, but this didn't stop the tour from being incredibly boring. The tour lasted 6 hours and I'm pretty sure we could have seen the highlights in about 3 hours. I wouldn't recommend this tour or Original Berlins Walks under any circumstance!

We enjoyed the tour of Potsdam. Jess was a very good tour guide and is very knowledgeable. He explained the history in a way that was both factual and entertaining. If you want to see the inside of some of the famous sites in Potsdam, this might not be the tour for you. But if you want a well-informed guide to walk you through and explain the highlights to you, it's well worth it.

Great experience-our guide Jesse was very knowledge about Potsdam and the history of Berlin/Germany. Tour was very informative and moved at a perfect pace. Would highly recommend for anyone considering a day trip to Potsdam.

Amazing tour with Walter i think his name was we were a small group so we got a lot more attention and I learnt so much. Potsdam was beautiful and it looked exactly like the picture, no better than the picture it was beautiful

Once again lots of standing in one spot and listening to the history. I like history but at some point it gest a bit confusing. Also no microphone so you have to run to keep up with the guide to at least try to hear what he says before running off to the next point. Very little time to take photos. I really felt rushed at the end of the day with very little to show for it
