Your day trip to Vienna begins as you depart Prague and take a comfortable coach ride south through the stunning landscapes of Bohemia and Moravia. After three to four hours of driving along Danube, Europe's longest river, arrive in Vienna, the home of Sigmund Freud.
Vienna, the seat of the Habsburg Empire during the 18th century, is a beautiful medieval and Baroque city and its historic center is UNESCO World Heritage listed.
With your guide, travel across the famous Ringstrasse, a magnificent boulevard that Emperor Franz Joseph built in the 1880s on the site of demolished city walls. Along the way, see Vienna’s majestic buildings, palaces and museums, including Schwarzenberg Square, the State Opera, Neue Burg (a part of the Hofburg), the building of Parliament and the History Museum. Pass beautiful public gardens and parks, enjoy panoramic views of the city, and listen as your guide tells you about the historical importance of each site.
Next, head to Vienna s southern border, where you can view Sch nbrunn (the former summer residence of the imperial family) and its beautiful reservoir. After exploring the gardens and chateau on your own, you will return by bus to the center of the city for a tour of the Hofburg, the former imperial residence of Vienna. Then, take a guided tour of St Stephen s Cathedral.

The tour guide and the driver were very friendly. However, we didn't leave on time, as they weren't organised, so we didn't arrive at Austria until 2pm and we had to leave at 5pm. So, we spent majority of the time in this trip in a car. The tour guide took us to the key attractions and we had a quick lunch, so I'd say that it's good if you are happy with the times that you get in Austria.

Very nice tour! A lot is packed into a long day, but well worth it for a look around Vienna if you have an extra day in Prague. Friendly and informative guide, courteous driver, and comfortable van.

This trip was terrible. My group was picked up from our hotel by a man who smelled so foul that the 15 minute ride to the meeting point was unbearable. Then two tour guides fought over who was giving the tour making us get a late start. Then foul smelling driver was our driver for 8 hours.

Vienna was amazing. The trip was nice and issue free. Definitely a must when this close to Vienna.

This tour was amazing. I forgot the guide’s name but she was enthusiastic and gave us so much information. Will do it again if given the chance. I’m sorry I forgot the tour guide’s name but she also spoke Spanish.

Driver was not good. Way too fast and several times went off into grids on sides of roads and had to swerve. While we were not provided any water or snacks for a 4 hour drive, our driver was constantly eating while driving. Banana, clemetines all needing to be peeled as we all swerved around. Guide added very little value. On arrival we were led down some streets and through archways while members of the tour asked to be released to go and get food and be on their own. Met back up at 5:30pm for another 4 hour drive back while the guide spoke with the driver only the entire time. Not a good time.

Really bad tour. Worst driver I have ever experienced abroad or at home. Literally,I thought I was going to die, he was that bad. Not safe at all,swerving,slamming brakes,dodging oncoming traffic. Tour guide had some textbook knowledge about Hapsburg history and a bit of religious and architectural knowledge but did not seem to want to deviate from her routine to answer questions. She was not very nice. Van was very small and packed to capacity. We kept having to ask the driver to turn on some air. We also had very little time in Vienna compared to how long it took to drive there. Would not recommend this tour at all. What would I do differently? I would have taken an extra day and stayed there and booked a local guide.

The tour was nice. The trip started on time and the guide was okay. The only suggestion would be that the guides need to tell a bit more about the history of Prague while travelling in and out of Prague. It would also be interesting if travellers are informed about the Czech culture , Czech food and about people by the guides

AVOID at ALL costs - DO NOT take this tour, it's a waste of time and money. They do not have a proper schedule for this tour, the tour guide lady was rude and did not provide any valuable information during the tour. They did not plan lunch time during the tour, so we spent the whole day without having a time for eating. It was a HORRIBLE tour, I honestly say AVOID this tour at ALL costs.
