Escape the city hustle and bustle of Prague and enjoy a full-day tour of Central Bohemia. Depart Prague in the morning of your tour and reach the former monastery of Sazava after an hour long drive in a private vehicle.
The monastery was originally built in 1032 before it got burnt down by the Hussites. It was revived in the 16th century and rebuilt in a baroque style in the 17th century. Finally in the 19th century, the monastery abolished by Joseph II and rebuilt as a Pseudo-Renaissance chateau. Marvel at the different architectural styles, before proceeding to esk `ternberk Castle.
Located in the village of esk `ternberk, the castle dominates the landscape for more than 760 years. It was rebuilt several times over the centuries and boasts remarkably decorative interiors from the Rococo to the Biedermeier, Empire style and Baroque taking you through time.
Next, you will be enjoying a traditional Czech lunch at U Koso Restaurant. Continue to Chateau }leby from here and admire its fairytale towers and turrets. See a remarkable collection of antiquities from the Renaissance to the 20th century including historic guns, glassware, porcelain and ceramics, stained glass, and furniture.
End your 10-hour tour at Sedlec Ossuary before heading back to Prague. See the skeletons of more than 40,000 people artistically arranged in the chapel beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints.行程概要出發地點
