You will be collected and welcomed from your hotel in the morning. The journey will take approximately 1 hour during transfer, you will see the beautiful scenery of Central Bohemia.
The first destination is the national historic landmark - Mining Museum PY□bram - Birch Mountain. Professional guide will highlight the uniqueness of this national landmark. Mining and ore processing has quite the tradition. Mining at PY□bram has started in the 16th century, while the greatest expansion was achieved in the 19th century. Back in time, 90% of the mined silver of Habsburg state was mined here.The main highlights of the rich museum coffers are; steam mining machine from the late 19th century, water wheel with a diameter of 12.4 meters,1600m deep mining pit and many other attractions.On your way to lunch, you will be traveling by narrow gauge railway.
After your lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit a place of pilgrimage - Holy Mountain near PY□bram. The purpose of the journey of the pious pilgrims was the worship of the Virgin Mary, which epitomized the statue of the Virgin Mary of Holy Mountain in the form of Gothic carvings. Baroque is an important highlight, which was built on the site of the original 16th-century chapel.The original chapel was built during the religious fragmentation, turmoil and unrest.
In 17th century, the area Holy Mountain became one of the largest and most important early Baroque buildings in the country. Holy Mountain fame spread even beyond the borders of Bohemia, and the number of pilgrims from Bavaria, Austria and Hungary.
