Start your hiking day tour from Wenceslas Square in Prague's New Town. After a brief introduction to Prague’s history, your guide will walk you down the square and into the small alleys and back streets of Prague that only the locals know about. You’ll hear about the history of New Town and Old Town while seeing the most amazing sights in these areas, such as Old Town Square with its Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, Jewish Quarter and many more.
Next, you will cross Cechuv Bridge to climb up to Letna Park, a popular hangout place among the locals. Make sure your camera is fully charged to capture the amazing views from the top of this viewing point over Prague.
After a short walk through the Royal Gardens, you will reach Prague Castle where your guide will introduce you to the castle's history and tell you stories about the influential emperors that governed over their empire from inside its massive walls. You will also be able to gain a sneak peak at St. Vitus Cathedral.
Refresh yourself at Strahov Monastery, the oldest monastery in the city center, and explore its delicious Czech cuisine and microbrewery (at own expense).
Just a few steps from the monastery, is the location of another incredible lookout: Petrin Tower, resembling Paris' Eiffel Tower. From here you can enjoy an outstanding view on Prague's city center. Zigzagging down the hill to Lesser Town, Church of St. Nicolas, the greatest baroque church in Prague, awaits you as well as John Lennon Wall, an underground place of the 80s.
Your final stop will be Charles Bridge, where your city hiking adventure will end with a great view of the upcoming sunset and a fresh breeze from Vltava river.行程概要出發地點

really good way to get to know the best bits of Prague. our tour guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable and passionate about his city. we left having a fair idea of the layout of the areas we wanted to explore more fully on our own, as others have mentioned 7 hours walking is a lot but we enjoyed it and saw parts of the historic centre we didn't existed, thank you -

This tour was fantastic and memorable. Our guide, Michal Pliva who runs a tour cie called Explore Prague, was excellent, friendly and very informative. Thanks to his well structured tour we have discovered so much about the beautiful city of Prague. The lunch stop at the monastery was very nice and the panoramic hill view of Prague there is amazing.

Our guide Michal had superb knowledge of the history of Prague and provided a top notch tour of all the highlights while taking us off the beaten path. In addition, he provided us several places to visit in Prague that brought us to neighborhoods and areas we would never have found on our own.

Terrific Tour.. The best you can get.. Mike is a more than amazing and wonderful guide.. He knows the city and the history like the back of his hand.. You would notice how hard he works to show you the best the city has got.. Look no further.. If you can walk for a little over a half day, of course with stops, this is the tour.. In all my travels around the world, I have seen few guides like Mike.. A real orientation to the city and the country.. I remember most of the facts and things he told us.. Absolutely wonderful tour..
