Meet your guide in central Prague and begin your city walking tour with a stroll through the charming alleyways and streets of Old Town, passing sites like Betlemske Chapel. Throughout your tour, your educated guide will regale you with tidbits of Prague history and culture, telling you about the triumphs and tragedies that have taken place in the city over the past 1,000 years.
Follow your guide past sculptures and monuments, making your way to Wenceslas Square, one of the city’s main squares and the historic center of the country’s 20th-century battle against communism and fascism. As you stand amid the city bustle of the square, hear about the Czechs who fought for freedom for their country.
Continue through the heart of the city, passing the Estates Theatre, where Mozart dazzled in 1787 with the premiere of his opera Don Giovanni, and Charles University, which was founded in 1348, making it one of the oldest universities in Europe. Head to Old Town Square, where you’ll admire its candy-colored buildings, fairytale-like churches with ornate architecture and Prague’s famous Astronomical Clock, which dates back to the early 1400s.
Next, take a break at a local cafe for a cup of coffee or tea or a glass of Czech beer. When you’ve refueled, continue your walking tour to the city’s old Jewish quarter, where you’ll learn about the nearly 12 centuries of history of Jewish people in Prague. See the Old Jewish Cemetery, which was in use from the 15th century, and the Old New Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in Europe.
Finish your tour with a walk to the riverfront, where you’ll stand on the edge of the Vltava and enjoy a wonderful view of Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, two of the city’s most famous sights.行程概要出發地點

This is one of the best tours I have taken. JohnHonza is the best tour guide I have ever had. Thorough and intelligent,well educated,he answered all my questions with detailed explanation including engineering and astrological questions about the clock. Tour guide was only moderately informed and seemed disinterested at times. Sound knowledge if Prague but not what Ive come to expect for a top quality guide in a small group. More of a big bus guide

This small group consisted of my wife, my self and the guide, Ondrej Bures. Could not praise Ondrej enough he is very knowledgeable and conducted the tour in a flexible way to suit our interests. Yes it was very interesting, we highly recommend it!

Our guide was knowledgeable if not a little cynical of the history of his town. We covered a lot of areas and learned a lot about Prague.

John Hounzaworked hard all morning to take our tour group of two all over the old quarter of Prague. He imparted the origins including political of Prague in a gentle and informative manner. He brought pictures to illustrate many of his interesting facts. After walking for some time he took us to a delightful cafe for coffee and continued our conversation there before continuing our walk. This was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the rich history and culture of a beautiful part of the world. John was generous was his time and talents.

Amazing tour with an awesome guide. Jahn spelling?, our guide, provided so much history and information that made our visit so much more meaningful. We really came away with a better appreciation of the rich history and traditions of the Czech Republic and how that history shaped the Czech people. Our guide gave us so much insight about a place we knew little about. He took us to places we would likely not have seen or appreciated if we ventured out on our own, including his favorite coffee house that we returned to the next day. We highly recommend to take this tour early on in your visit and then use the knowledge you gain to explore some places in more detail. For example, our tour took us to the Jewish Quarter which we explored in more depth the next day. We would definitely return to Prague in the future.
