Start your tour in the morning from Old Town Square with a brief introduction of the city's history over the past millennium.
Next, you will explore several back streets and alleys located around the square. Your journey will bring you to Tyn Court where you will have the chance to glance at two beautiful churches, both high in importance for the royal family of Luxembourg.
From there, the route will lead you to a square that once was the biggest square in the world: Charles Square. Listen to the many stories this landmark has to offer from the beginning of Hussite wars by the first Prague defenestration to the bombing of Prague in 1945.
Located on the other side of the Charles Square is Emmaus Monastery, one of the few places held in original and genuine gothic style. Learn how a part of the monastery was blown into pieces when a bomb was dropped on the monastery’s church.
The last part of your tour will bring you to the old medieval fortress Vysehrad Castle, the seat of the first king of Bohemia. Enjoy the amazing panoramic views of Vltava river and the city center of Prague from here.行程概要出發地點

We had been in Prague a few days before going on this tour with Mike so had seen most of the main sights. Unfortunately we had some duplication with the first few stops of the tour but this did not detract greatly from the tour as one church had been closed so it was useful to go back. Mike is very knowledgeable and a very good guide - full of interesting facts and enthusiasm. We learnt a lot about the different styles of architecture - and as there were just 2 of us on the tour - we asked loads of questions and Mike was able to supply answers. The tour ends at Vysehrad Castle which is at the the top of quite a steep street but with fantastic views over the city. A great tour - if you're interested in the less well known churches, squares, buildings and castle and want to soak up more during your visit to Prague, this trip is worth doing.

Mike was fantastic. Our tour lasted for well over three hours and we learned so much about the history and architecture of the city. We went well off the beaten track to take in places we'd never have discovered. We now have a much better idea of where to go and where to visit. Would thoroughly recommend.
