Pass By: Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal, Hong Kong
Around 8am: Your guide in Hong Kong will pick you up from a designated hotel in downtown Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay, or North Point.

Around 9am: Drive to the ferry, arrive at Hong Kong Macau Ferry Port and depart for Macau by comfortable Turbojet. Your Hong Kong guide will give you your Turbojet tickets and see you off there. After efficient custom process, get on board and experience one-hour speed of the turbojet.
Stop At: Monte Fort
In the morning: Arrive at Macau pier. You will be met by your English-speaking Macau guide and led to the coach. Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Ruins of St. Paul, Monte Fortress, including a section of the old city wall. This part is the essence of Macau, they are the mixing of the Chinese and Portuguese cultures and religious traditions for more than four centuries.
Buffet lunch in a local restaurant: Choose from a selection of main dishes, soup, vegetables, desserts, and drinks. Usually the lunch time is an hour.
Duration: 3 hours
Pass By: A-Ma Temple (Ma Kok Miu), Macau
In the afternoon: Continue city sightseeing with a visit to the A-Ma Temple, from which Macau gets its name. Legend has it that after her death Ma Zu's spirit helped merchants and fishermen head off dangers on the roiling sea.
Stop At: Lisboa Casino, Macau
Then drive to the famous casinos site (usually Lisboa) for a look around and try your hand at a table. Your guide will stay outside the casino and if you would like to know more about the casino industry or have any questions, feel free to ask. After this, we drive to the city center, Senado Square, and do some shopping for local souvenirs at the sidewalk stalls.

Pass By: Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal, Hong Kong
Around 5pm: Your Macau guide will see you at the Macau Hong Kong Ferry Pier and you return to Hong Kong by comfortable Turbojet. Guide and driver in Hong Kong will meet you and drop you off at the designated hotel.

I really enjoyed this trip to Macau. Patrick was a fantastic guide. He knew a lot about Macau - both the history and the current situation - and I found that really valuable info. He also had a really good sense of humour. I liked the way that he managed to keep everyone in the group on time. Quite a skill!! And he did it in a very positive way. We packed a lot into the day. I'd like to go back again....

Be aware that the beginning of this tour is an unescorted ride on a ferry from Hong Kong to Macau. We were picked up, dropped off at the ferry terminal, and handed tickets for the ferry. You then have to find your tour guide in the Macau terminal. The actual Macau tour was quite nice and the guide's English was excellent. The pacing is a bit fast, but you get to see quite a lot. If you ask, you can also push back your ferry ride home at the end and stick around a little longer.

I know this review may seem negative but think of it more as realistic. Our guide was funny but not particularly informative.His main interest was in making sure we returned from our various sight-seeing activities on time and all in one place. This is understandable from his perspective but the feeling was more OK,go over there and look at that stuff but make sure you're back here in twenty minutes. Our feeling was Well what are we looking at and why ?. Overall it was an enjoyable if somewhat rushed experience.

Our tour was perfect for one day of exploring Macau.
we enjoyed the old city, had a great lunch then on for a quick stop at the casino. Our tour guide was fun and very well informed. -
Guide Patrick was a stand up comedian but also highly informative. Casino was over the top.

I would have preferred more input on the history of the places we visited. It would have asssisted to be accompanied into the various sites eg temple the ancient Portuguese area with more detailed explanation.rather than left to our own resources. More time at these places to explore the Portuguese influence including time for coffee and particular cakes say 40 mins. Far less time at the end in the Casino area - see one see them all. The uniqueness of Macau is its history not its shopping - that can be done in numerous places by individuals.

The ferry ride to Macau and highlights of the city were wonderful, it is a great way to spend a day, and see some different things.

Overall, a very good tour. You'll see the highlights of Macau, a day tour was enough for me, but you'll only have time for the highlights and not be able to do much else, this was expected as it was a group tour. Yes I would recommend this tour, but if you like gambling or like to wander on your own, perhaps spend a night in Macau while you are there.
