The first thing that happened was not the fault of the provider, but of the cruise line. The port was changed from Valparaiso to San Antonio, so the provider had to come an extra distance to pick us up. We originally booked a private van for 4 people. When we changed ports, the provider said that they would send a 12-passenger van, because there was another party of 4 who also needed to be picked up. Well, the 12-passenger van and a 6-passenger van arrived to pick us up, but then, another party of at least 6 was also traveling, with 2 persons in wheelchairs. Now remember - we all had just come off a 15-day cruise, so we all had lots of luggage.
So, our private van for 4 people turned into a van with 6, with luggage, with the remainder of all of the people being put into the 12-passenger van. I am not sure about the other parties, but we requested an English-speaking driver. Neither driver was proficient in English.
After packing the vans with luggage and wheelchairs, the drive to Santiago was interesting, including at least twice stopping in the travel lane so that the drivers could converse on where they were going. They had cell phones, which is not the greatest idea, either, but it would have been better than putting us in harm's way in the roadway.
We finally got to the city, and while driving, we heard a crunching noise coming from the vehicle every time the driver hit the brakes. Being in the business of vehicle inspections, we knew that the noise was coming from the front brakes not having any pad left. It was the sound of metal-to-metal.
Needless to say, with the van being packed, and driving on highways and in city traffic, there was concern for our safety in this van.
We have used Viator before and had a great experience, but this local company needs to be reconsidered.

Our cruise ship had to change our deportation to San Antonio instead of Valparaiso. Notification of this change was no issue for the transfer. However, the two mini vans for the many people requesting this transfer was difficult. Attempting to pack the huge suitcases and personnel into the vans was a challenge. I did agree to a mini van transfer because of the changed of port debarkation, but had registered originally for a private transfer. There was no adjustment for the cost and change with many people using the vans.
Everyone was polite and accommodating. -

Excellent 1/2 day tour of Santiago, We saw all that needed to be seen in a non rushed way and even stopped for an ice cream on the central Hill. The guide and driver helped with my mobility scooter and his vehicle was comfortable. he answered any questions that we had and was very knowledgeable.

Excellent trip from Valpara?so to Santiago. The driver found our hotel Higueras in Valparaiso without problem and took us to our hotel The Aubrey in Santiago. Perfect.

Our Valparaiso to Santiago PRIVATE transfer was changed to a SHARED transfer from San Antonio to Santiago due to a cruise ship port change. The tour operator indicated there would be no cost savings due to a longer distance transit. This is not the case. Valparaiso and San Antonio are about the same distance from Santiago.
Now the transfer review. The tour operator arrived an hour later than indicated in the reservation. They indicated they were late due to a festival. All other tour operators at the port did not have this problem. When the tour operator finally showed up they had one large van and one regular size van for 13 people with luggage from a 15 day cruise. Also, there were 2 wheelchairs that needed to be transported. Everyone and their luggage was crammed into the 2 vans and off we went.
I would give this no stars if possible. The local tour operator was not prepared and very unprofessional.

We really just needed to go from Concon to our hotel in Santiago and our driver got us there quickly and safely. He did offer to stop along the way but because we were planning on being with friends in the same area later in our visit we had our driver go direct to the hotel. We would definitely use viator again.

Most folks don't know it is a 2 to 2 1/2 hour ride from the ship terminal in Valisparo to Santiago. We took this trip because it was a van for just the two of us and the driver who pointed out things along the way including the many vineyards and wineries. Pleasant trip and would use them again if repeat this trip.

This is just a transfer from the cruise port to our Santiago hotel. Our driver was waiting for us at the port baggage claim area with a sign, he helped us carry our luggages to the car. It is very efficient and reasonably priced for a private transfer. The only downside is that our drive does not speak much English but he still managed to point out some notable sites in Santiago for us.

We even got a short sightseeing of Valpariso before we headed to Santiago
