The day starts in Santiago with hotel pickup, before traveling to Valparaiso, the country’s most important historical and economical port. The magic of this contrasting city invites to travel along its curvy streets, full of landscapes that suddenly appear as postcards of the Pacific Ocean until arriving at La Sebastiana: the first destination of this touching tour.
Located at the middle of Florida Hill and enjoying of a beautiful sight of the city, this house was restored by Neruda’s late wife together with the Neruda Foundation to tell the amazing history of the poet. Inside the house, informed by an audio guide available in different languages, you will have the opportunity of discovering the relationship of the poet’s books with this enchanting city.
After that, the travel continues to Isla Negra through some beautiful country roads and rural beaches until arriving to the central coastal zone, a relaxing place where you will have the opportunity of trying the fresh and tasty seafood of the local restaurants that will be recommended by the tour guide. Then, the tour will continue to the stunning house of Isla Negra, located right next to a rocky beach, where the solitude of the place together with the constant sound of crushing waves invite you to discover the creative process of Pablo Neruda. To finalize, the tour returns to Santiago by reviewing music, poems and interesting facts related to the most important aspects of Neruda’s life.

Terrific tour - we managed to walk around one of he old areas in Valporaiso, Have lunch at Isla Negra as well as see the two homes of Pablo Neruda. The Pablo Neruda home in Isla Negra was the real highlight for us - the setting is fabulous and the house a reflection of his life and interests.
Jaime was great tour guide and excellent driver - there were just two of us on the tour and we had a great day. -
This tour was exellent. The wines at the organic wineyard were excellent. We had time to visit Pablo Neruda's houses in and out at our leisure, no hurry! We had lunch at an excellent restaurant Jaime recomended; not a tourist trap in Isla Negra. Pamela and Jaime were just great.
