Your tour begins with hotel pickup from your centrally located hotel in Santiago. Meet your guide and board your vehicle to Pomaire where you can appreciate the amazing clay craft work. Enjoy the countryside vibe and spirit of this place and visit various handicrafts stands, before heading to Isla Negra, located in the central coastline.
Then, you will visit the museum of Nobel Prize winner poet Pablo Neruda, which once was his house.The museum will give you the opportunity to see countless personal gems and objects, bottles collections and an imposing figurehead turned into the permanent source of inspiration.

Driver exactly on time. Chatted about the history of the area along the way which was very informative.We stopped for a comfort stop on the way and were able to purchase drinks and food if wanted. The visit to the home of Pablo Neruda was wonderful - so much more than what we were expecting. A man of many interests and the home was so well cared for. We visited every avenue of the home only place off limits was the kitchen - just loved his interest in so many things, and with the aid of hearing aids were given the whole history in English. insufficient time for shopping. A few managed to purchase one of his poem books, but they ran out. Disappointing as Pablo was a great writer. We then went on to Pomaire Village where the area was covered in craft shops of many kinds with eating at a village restaurant - which was desperately slow, there was very little time to spend browsing/shopping. Would I recommend this trip - yes indeed.

Wonderful, wonderful. The drive to Neruda's house is well worth it. The house tour was so interesting and the views of the ocean are incredible. I highly recommend this tour.
