    Stop At: Arctic Tours Canada, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories

    Tour starts with hotel pick ups from Yellowknife local hotels. After pick up driver/guide will guide you out of the city of Yellowknife city light pollution to safe designated aurora viewing spots in tour bus coach/ tour van.

    Wonderful Northern Lights experience with Arctic Tours. Guides are great and patiently hunt the aurora lights with us. Went for three different locations. We could see the amazing aurora lights filled up the sky and dancing beautifully. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

    Definitely must go with a guide/driver for Aurora Hunting. We are so glad that we have Winfred as our guide. We have booked 3 nights with 2 nights of Aurora Hunting and 1 night at Aurora Village. He drove us to 3 different places to watch Aurora on the 1st night. The weather was good, we saw Aurora dancing and took many photos. However the weather on the 2nd and 3rd night were cloudy, we saw nothing. 3 night was at Aurora Village and was totally not worth it. The teepee areas were bright so there was some light pollution, and there were way too many people in the area, with at least 5-6 tour buses loaded with tourists. It may be better for the winter when it is cold outside, so you can stay warm in the teepees and the staff will let people know if Aurora comes.

    Tour guide was flexible and knew the best sites to see the lights. Very accommodating to guest wishes.

    excellent experience for Aurora at Yellow Knife.
    1st day Aurora hunting 2nd day Aurora village
    I would recommend prefer to Aurora hunting than any other.

    I stayed for 4 nights in Yellowknife, and joined different Aurora Viewing tours every night.
    Winfred Arctic Tours is a very friendly and accommodating guide !!!
    However, I did not feel much special about his Aurora Hunting Tour.
    Because his tour is small, I expected it could be more personalised, and he would take us to somewhere special, like quiet and hidden view spots.
    However, the 3 different viewing places, where we visited on the day, were all popular places and very crowded with many other tourists might be both locals and other tour companies' customers.
    We could see very good aurora on that night, but it was not easy to take photos because of too much light from other tourists' cameras and flush lights, and cars' headlights.
    This was not Winfred's fault, yet, unfortunately I did not feel much advantage of joining a small tour.
    Snacks, hot and cold beverages included ??. Nothing was served.
