Whistler is known for amazing skiing, ample summer activities and award-winning restaurants. Take a break from the outdoor activities and refuel with four full courses, plus extra samplings, on this 3-hour progressive fine-dining tour.
Your professional and passionate foodie tour guide will meet you at a designated spot and lead you to your first stop, the famous Bearfoot Bistro. This bistro is home to not only Canada’s 2008 top chef, Melissa Craig, but also to a record-breaking 15,000-bottle wine cellar. In the cellar, learn how to saber a bottle of Champagne like a pro (in other words, open the bottle with a sword!). Napoleon started the tradition of opening Champagne with a saber in the late 1700s, and your host will teach you how to do it so you can impress at your next dinner party.
From here, make your way to an upscale steakhouse for the evening's select course, plus a blind wine-tasting seminar where you'll find out just how good your palate is. Then head to a warm, inviting Italian eatery for your main course. This restaurant continually wows critics and diners alike, and it always offers a delectable meat, seafood and vegetarian option from which you can choose.
After enjoying the savory portion of your evening, move on to the sweet finale. Stop at Roger's Chocolates for a taste of the icewine truffles, a local favorite, and then finish your tour with the chef's choice seasonal dessert at a casual, chic lounge.
To make this evening even more special, upgrade to include wine pairings, which include a 3-ounce (90-ml) glass of sparkling wine (from the bottle opened during the sabering lesson), a 3-ounce glass of either red or white wine at the next two restaurants, and a 1-ounce (30-ml) glass of BC's famous icewine at the last restaurant. Additional wine, beer and cocktails are available for purchase throughout the tour.

It was a very fabulous way to get the inside scoop on many of the restaurants in Whistler. We had to go fairly early because our tour was through the Christmas holiday period. The restaurant choices were all interesting and delicious. We did the wine pairing, which I would recommend as it really rounds out the evening (there is a blind wine tasting in one of the restaurants ). A real treat was going into the amazing wine cellar in the Bearfoot bistro and learning how to saber a bottle of champagne! Do it early in your trip to get some good recommendations for later!

My husband and I had a private tour with Tomara. She was so welcoming, and a treasure trove of information. We had so much fun trying out all the wonderful cuisines. Purchase this tour with confidence, you will not regret it.

We had a great time walking to so many great restaurants and shops on the tour. Guide Kristy was so informative and personable. Food and wine were all wonderful, and we had more than enough good food to enjoy. Only wish the weather was more accommodating for the tour so cold for May, we were told.

This was a great tour with delicious food at every stop. Luke was a great tour guide. I added the wine pairing and glad i did. Definitely worth the money.

We ended up having a private tour with our guide Christy. Our food was delicious and it was fun to sample different restaurants, we particularly enjoyed our main course at Quatros. Christy was very knowledgeable about Whistler and gave us tips for the rest of our stay.

Fantastic time went to great places on the tour. Very cold walking around to each place for the different courses. Highlight Bear Foot Inn. They also offer different food tours in whilster itself .
