Victoria is Vancouver’s smaller, quieter cousin. Don’t let small size and lack of noise fool you, the capital city of Victoria has shops, museums, history, and restaurants to occupy you for days. Make sure to see famous parliamentary sights, the Empress Hotel, Beacon Hill Park and the Inner Harbor. This Vancouver to Victoria Overnight Tour Including Butchart Gardens will give you a comprehensive overview of one of Canada’s most beautiful cities.
You will be picked you up from your downtown Vancouver hotel by shuttle and taken to the ferry terminal at Tsawwassen where you board a BC Ferry bound for Victoria. As you cruise through the Gulf Islands, keep your eyes open; a variety of whales are known to inhabit these waters, turning your ferry ride into a whale watching excursion! Even without a whale sighting, the scenery throughout the Inside Passage is beautiful.
Once in Victoria, you are whisked off to the spectacular Butchart Gardens where 55 acres of pristine gardens will be the focus of many pictures. After admiring the gardens, your coach takes you on a brief tour of the city. By 3:30pm, you’ll have been dropped off at the Inn at Laurel Point, ranked highly by Cond□ Nast Traveler Magazine for several years, with the next 24 hours at your disposal. Make the short walk to downtown Victoria or enjoy a meal at Aura, the Inn's restaurant boasting spectacular views of Inner Harbor and Victoria.

Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability The Lobby of the Inn at Laurel Point will be under renovation from October 2018 - July 2019. The renovation will not directly impact guests as construction will take place during the day. The hotel entrance is located at the top of the driveway and is clearly marked. Until April 21, food and beverage service will not be available at the hotel. As of April 22, food and beverage options will be available. Pricing is based on Single/Double occupancy only. If 2 rooms are required, please book this option twice (2 Singles or 2 Doubles). At the time of booking, please supply gender of all travelers. Enjoyable 2 day tour. Most of the people on the your opted for a day trip and I was the only one staying overnight. The float plane return was really good. Tour guide on the first day was really good. I was on my own the second day.

Well worth it for the additional time to explore Victoria, a highlight of our BC trip, as was the float plane ride back to Vancouver. Highly recommended!

The two-day Victoria trip was very enjoyable. There wasn't much guided tour in this package as the tour guide is basically the driver driving us to the pier for the bus to get on the ferry to Victoria. Then he drove us to Butchart Garden where we could just tour around the place ourselves. We were then dropped off at our hotel for checking in and the rest of the first day and the next day were all our free times.
The hotel chosen for us is very good, very good service and the room is very nice.
The airplane experience was fantastic.
The tour was very costy but worth to do it. -
The gardens were amazing. We definitely recommend the overnight tour. 2 hours in Victoria is not enough time and it's a long ride back to Vancouver via the shuttle. We enjoyed the float plane ride back, so much to see.

This trip was wonderful! The tour guides were friendly, informative and on time. Everything went smoothly and as advertised, just as in past Viator tours we've taken. The hotel we stayed at was beautiful and the city was easily accessible by walking. We could have stayed at the Empress but chose the Inn at Laurel Point and were very happy with the choice. We would highly recommend it.

The guide was very informed and communicated well. Arrangements were good. We had opted to stay back for one night at victoria and they booked us a great hotel. Also booked for us return by Float plane. Great experience..

Although I enjoyed the trip, there were significant issues that made me feel that this trip was not worth the significant expense... On the positive...the trip was fairly well organized and as advertised. Down sides...van picking us up at the hotel was 30 minutes late. The driver was curt and unfriendly. He took us to our tour guide who was friendly but who clearly was not a native English speaker. He was not aware or familiar with the fact that we were spending the night... most of the guests were doing the day trip. Eventually, he figured it out and got our vouchers. The hotel was sub standard. After three room switches and numerous phone calls, it became clear that the hotel had an upgraded wing... We decided to pay extra for this... It would have been helpful had we known. The difference was huge. Almost as though they were two separate hotels. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast, although not inexpensive . Lastly, when we showed up for our float plane,there was fog and planes were being cancelled. I had triple checked on this prior to booking and during the trip as we needed to catch our cross country flight home. I had been told that there was no problem and no need for concern. This was not the case... When I called the vendor to report that the flight plane might be cancelled, I was told that this was not their problem. Luckily, the flight did take off and we got home to the east coast. When I return to Victoria, I will not take this tour.

Hotel pick-up and drop-off. There was no drop-off for us. There was nobody waiting for us at the plane terminal, there was no shuttle.
We really feel very unsatisfied because of this. And there are more people who have had the same problem. -
This was a great tour, starting with afriendly, informative tour guide, Mike. He guided us from the ferry to Buchart Gardens in the sunshine, and dropped us at our comfortable hotel.
We had time during the next day to look round Victoria and themagnificent BC Museum before an unforgettable float plane ride back to Vancouver.
Everything had gone smoothly until then, but we were then met by the shuttle who refused to take us back to our hotel, and rather than be abandoned in an underground carpark, we had to agree to be dropped at the taxi rank. What a pity tnat the final stage should be so disappointing.
