Drive from downtown Vancouver to the ferry terminal for priority boarding on the British Columbia Ferry service. The 1 hour 40 minute cruise across the Strait of Georgia takes you through the breathtaking Gulf Islands. Don't forget your camera for amazing photo opportunities!
Your first stop will be the world famous Butchart Gardens where you'll enjoy a truly amazing abundance of horticultural mastery. Being a private tour, you'll leave when you are ready. Most people take at least a couple of hours to explore the gardens (with time for tea if you please).
Then it is on to Victoria where you'll see the Legislature Buildings, Empress Hotel, Beacon Hill Park and more. Enjoy some free time to explore this fascinating city and all it has to offer. Return to Vancouver via BC Ferry service for a late evening conclusion.

We had a most delightful day as the gardens were outstanding and Bjorn gave us a very informative tour of Victoria Island. We would highly recommend this to others.

Primary reason for the trip was to spend as much time as we needed at Bucharest Gardens. We felt that our driver rushed us through the garden and then had much time to kill for the rest of the visit to Victoria.

We saw a lot in one day. Definitely saw places the bus could have never gone. While our guide was friendly and accommodating, he did not seek input on things like when we'd like to eat or how much time we might want in Victoria. We asked about the itinerary of the day, but we didn't a complete picture of the day. Lunch wasn't even mentioned until we asked at 2 oclock. We were, however, happy that we saw things we didn't know we wanted to see.

I learned a lot. The driver was great. Butchart Gardens a highlight..so was ferry ride over and back.

The tour was wonderful. The driver, Bjorn was personable and knowledgeable about the gardens and the island. The 10 tour was too long a day. We opted to not take the free time in Victoria City and take the 6 pm ferry back to Vancouver City. Perfect weather. great time. We will do it again when we get up this way.

An amazing tour. Bjorn showed us places we never would have seen if we had not been with him. The wonderful view from Beacon Hill was a good example of the above. His expertise and little insights made the trip to Butchart Gardens and Victoria a highlight of our time in Canada!

Steve did an awesome job! We had a great day on the island and at the Gardens. Steve even took us and showed us how to get to Granville Island from our hotel so we could go there the following day.
