Depart downtown Vancouver in the morning and travel to Whistler through beautiful Sea to Sky Country. Howe Sound glacial fjord and the rugged Coast Mountains are the backdrop on your scenic journey. First, visit Cypress Lookout. There is no better way to see all of Vancouver from above without an airplane. This stop overlooks the city from 1,400 feet up, with Vancouver's downtown core, Lions Gate bridge and Stanley Park in the foreground.
Head next to Horseshoe Bay to explore this cozy oceanfront village community in West Vancouver, situated on a breathtaking glacial fjord. Enjoy a cup of coffee while walking along the pier overlooking the marina and watch ferries arrive and depart.
Your next stop is Porteau Cove Provincial Marine Park. Smell the sea breeze and walk an out-rigged pier with stunning views of Anvil Island and Howe Sound. The serene and sometimes stormy waters are a popular destination for photo opportunities.
Continue to Shannon Falls, where you can enjoy an easy walk to the base of British Columbia's third highest waterfall, which cascades from 1,099 feet above the highway.
Next up is the Sea-to-Sky Tantalus Lookout. Let the vastness of the Tantalus Range draped in glaciers take you away before its 8,500 feet of panoramic presence.
Reach your final destination, Whistler Village, where you can experience the Peak 2 Peak Gondola or kayak along a river. This is one stop you won't forget! Whistler offers many activities such as ziplining, ATVing, snowmobiling or even spa lounging. Make sure to book ahead if you're interested in doing more!
