Make your way to the meeting point to begin your guided, 3.5-hour food tour in scenic Niagara-on-the-Lake, where the Niagara River meets Lake Ontario. Prepare your taste buds for a tantalizing experience of new world cuisine paired with old world charm. The walking tour is a roughly 2-to-2.5-mile ( 3-to-4-km) loop.
Savor the best dishes of this culinary destination on a walk through the picturesque streets of Old Town. Listen as your guide fills you in on the rich history of the area and connects it to modern-day Niagara. Sample authentic Niagara fare at favorite local restaurants. Duck into intimate restaurants and try some of the favorite local fare with an international flare. Visit a bakeshop off the beaten path where their seasonally inspired desserts never disappoint. Other tastings include Canadian cheeses and a taste of Thai cuisine. Niagara chefs tend toward local, seasonal ingredients so the tastings change by the season.
Listen as your guide explains the history behind the restaurants, farm-to-table cuisine and the latest wine and food trends of the region. By the end of your tour, you’ll have a comprehensive overview of the region and be comfortably full. The tour finishes up a block or so from where it starts, so you’ll be familiar with the area as you head off on your own.

Good sampling of different food- Thai, pizza, ice cream, cakes, beer tasting. Nice leisure walk around the town with a knowledgeable guide

This was a great tour. Gary was very informative, fun and personable. We had some great beer, Thai food, pizza, pumpkin cheesecake and gelato. The tour covers a lot of territory, so be prepared for a good walk. I would highly recommend the tour and Gary as the guide!

Our tour guide Charlie was wonderful!! Very entertaining and informative. But couldn't give 5 stars for a couple of reasons. We had a group of 8 but for some reason Viator only had us down for 6. Good thing I had my voucher for 8 with me. Also Viator told us when we made the reservation that wine was included at each restaurant. This was definitely not true. Beer was included at our first stop which was a brewery. We were able to buy drinks on our own at the other stops but this is not what we were told. Also, be prepared to walk!! This tour isn't just in the town area but also goes out to the other part of town.

Chris did an exceptional job on our walking foodie tour. He is very knowledgeable about the area. We sampled beer, appetizers, pizza and desserts at 5 different restaurants. I highly recommend this tour and just a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake which is absolutely beautiful.

Great tour! Loved the food stops- the brewery and Thai were my favorites! Chris was very knowledgeable about the region and history- learned way more than I expected to!

The tour guide, Charlie, was entertaining and very knowledgeable. The history part was spot on. It was not a food tour. What does curry cauliflower soup have to do with Niagara - still don't know. And walking 8 blocks for a slice of pizza is not my idea of a foodie tour. A couple of the food spots were good, but overall, this is a very good historical tour with some ok snacks on the side.

I really enjoyed my time on this tour! Our tour guide was great! In the food was very impressive but very small. The tour guide knew a lot about the history. ... And he was very accommodating. I would recommend the I would recommend this tour, if you like a lot of walking and not much food.
