Your Montreal food tour takes place in Mile End, an artistic hub and home to such writers, artists and musicians as the members of Arcade Fire. Begin at La Panth□re Verte (The Green Panther), a Mile End vegan restaurant on Rue St Viateur known for its falafel, which is your first tasting of the day.
From here, walk with your guide and small group to Boucherie Lawrence, a neighborhood butcher shop that specializes in locally raised meat. Sample some yummy cheeses and charcuterie ─ a selection of p t□, sausages and other cured meats.
Your next stop is Chocolats Genevieve Grandbois, a chocolate shop featuring only the best. Next, you'll be stopping at the famous St-Viateur Bagel, a local favorite that’s been serving what Montrealers consider the world’s best bagels since 1957. Then it's time to digest briefly, while visiting Th□ tre Rialto (Rialto Theatre), a former cinema that was built in 1924 and was inspired by the Paris Opera House. Hopefully you're hungry again, because next up is some delicious gnocchi at Drogheria Fine. You'll have to try these yourself and see what you think!
Your final two stops will satisfy dessert lovers and meat enthusiasts in your group. Eat some local meat and charcuteries at Boucherie Lawrence, and round out your foodie adventure with debatably the best ice cream in the city at Kem Coba ice cream shop.

Absolutely loved it. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and despite the freezing cold weather it was great to learn about the city (it was our first visit to montreal.). We are big foodies, and we liked several spots so much that we returned for more after the tour! Highly recommend

This was a great trip in a diverse and unusual neighborhood. Our group of 10 made it easy to get around. We started at a vegan restaurant and munched our way along streets and even alleyways. We tasted Montreal bagels that tasted more like pretzels, hand-crafted chocolates, sorbets and other goodies. We even talked with one of the residents of the multi-story walk-up apartments. The woman candidly talked about living in the changing neighborhood and winters with the treacherous outside stairways. This tour encouraged us to take food tours in other cities. The guide did a great job and really 'served' the group.

We had a great time on this tour. Our tour guy Mark was fun and knowledgable about the food and history if the Mile End area. The portion sizes in this tour of 7 restaurants were impressively large and the food was all very good! It was a 3 hour leisurely walk not at all rushed or fast paced.

Marc was an excellent guide and host. We toured a very interesting neighborhood which we wouldn't have visited had it not been for this tour. Our guide provided detailed information about the food and the area. We've been on food tours in other cities and this is rated among the top.

The tour was not what we expected.We thought there would be demo on the foods prepared but there was none.. It was just promoting the store owner on the six places we visited but not to the right crowd since
most of us are tourist and not from Montreal. Walking was okay and the fee was expensive. We were a little
disappointed ..My sister-inlaw said we might be in the wrong place
when we arrived because of the area, but again their purpose is to help and advertise those places. -

An excellent food tour to 7 places in Mile End: 6 food stops and the Rialto Theater. The tour guide was amazingly passionate and friendly during the whole time. The tour started at the panthere verte for a felafel tasting (was very good) .The 2nd stop was Boucherie Lawrence where we tasted 3 different charcuteries and 3 cheeses along with a local beer - it was a delight, everything was exquisite .Then we went for the 3rd stop at Kem Coba for a swirl strawberry sorbet and cheese cake ice cream (delicious). After that, we continued our walk towards the famous St Viateur Bagel and had a sesame bagel fresh from the oven (delightful). Our 5th stop was at the Rialto Theater which was a gem to look at. Then we walked a few steps to Phyllo Bar M□lina where we had Greek food tasting example: Spanakopita (only place that was average). Last, we ended our tour at Chocolats Genevi□ve Grandbois where we had many delicious chocolate tasting. Overall the tour was extremely enjoyable and highly recommended.
