We'll start at the famous Copacabana beach, and drive South along the coast. In Barra da Tijuca, the action is centered around Pep□’s kiosk, a world champion of hang gliding and ranked amongst the 20 best surfers in the world, Pep□, as he was known is a local legend.
Further south, the beach towards Recreio is popular with fishermen. Our next stop will be the Prainha beach, Rio’s best surfing spot. It is an 800-meter long beach surrounded by nature and located inside the Grumari Environmental Protection Area. You can also embark on a short hiking tour of the Prainha area. Our last stop will be at the beautiful Grumari beach located on the same road.
