After hotel pickup from your centrally located Rio de Janeiro hotel, you'll head to the Tijuca Forest and enjoy a ride through what is considered one of the largest urban forests in the world.
You will then stop at the Vista Chinesa lookout point and, if the weather is good, you can see the hang gliders ramp at Pedra Bonita. Enjoy the amazing view of S o Conrado beach and the city. Continue your tour towards the Santa Marta community to have a tour of the favela. The Santa Marta hilltop is a very popular tourist destination nowadays. Your tour guide will take you to the top of the hill where you can appreciate the beautiful views and learn from a resident of the community its history. You will also see the Michael Jackson statue, learn about local social projects and experience the daily routine of the residents.
