On this tour, get ready to hear about the history, the environment and the great beaches of Igarassu and Itamarac□.
Considered one of the seven wonders of Pernambuco, the historic center of Igarassu surprised by how much is still preserved in its architecture. It is the start place of the Portuguese occupation in Brazil, whose built the Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian and the Convent of St. Anthony. Travel to the world of art with its art gallery, one of the largest Baroque art collections on display.
On the island of Itamarac□, accompany its beaches with calm waters and tall coconut trees, and its islets of natural beauty. The island attracts tourists by the great care in preserving its nature and your animal rescue projects, such as Manatee Preservation Center, which cares for and re-introduces the mammals in the marine habitat. You can see the animals in their stay at the center, in huge glass tanks, and also learn about the project in fun museum with manatee format.
Itamarac□ also has historic buildings, when Brazil was still a colony. The Fort Orange, built on the beach of Pilar, dates from the time of Dutch invasions of our coastline. His excavations take place today and its relics of the time of collection of the battles has grown.
